Good Morning, Friends!

Thursday, we watched the Tulip Time Dutch Dress Rehearsal... always enjoy seeing the costumes come out and streets full of dancers. The high school students are juggling exam/dance schedules. Mothers/fathers do the same with family/work schedules. Yesterday, I finished this week's appointments. The Farmers' Market opens today, and I can't wait to see what is available.

Ann - Did you climb to 24 critters? Thank you for sharing your pictures.

PattiT - Have fun at the softball games. Enjoy your time with Nick and Tina. Thank you for letting us know about Debbie.

Fan - Will it be shorts and T-shirt weather this weekend?

Pat - Hoping your computer will behave, without reformatting.

Debbie - Glad to hear you are home.

Tango - How are you doing?

~~Vicki

Vicki - yep, we hit the 24 mark yesterday! Shocked But we sent two of the little critters home, plus the 24th critter went back to it's momma...so we are down to 21. Crazy.

Gorgeous day today. Have lots to do so headed out to enjoy the weather.

Take care,
Ann

Just back from the Farmers' Market with compact basil, flat parsley, and rosemary. Sage and chives are already coming up. Can't wait to use fresh herbs again. Homemade bread is next on the agenda.

Ann - What do you plan on doing? Photography, errands, housework, or a combination of all.

~~Vicki

Hi everybody, have a smashing weekend Very Happy

Today is National Remembrance Day. In about an hour the whole country will be silent for two minutes. Even the trains will stop on the tracks.
Tomorrow we will celebrate Liberation Day. Hopefully the weather will be as fantastic as today's. To sum up my day; sunny warm weather, shorts and t-shirt, breakfast and coffee on the pavement, laundry, household chores, prepping for tomorrow's flea market and cooking. I'm almost done and pretty pooped. Just finished dinner, chicken in orange chili sauce.

Now there's only the dishes left on my to do list.
Vicki, lovely pic. But it looks as if they are short of a few blokes. Smile
Ann-Marie, be careful and use a sun-block. I'm close to a sunburn on my toes Wink Have fun today.

Fan - You're correct... more girls than guys. I had a friend who would always send a special post on both the National Remembrance and the Liberation Day.

GOOD MORNING GIRLS.....Sorry that I haven't been on for a while. I know I've missed chatting with you all. I see that Patti has let you know I'm home...Thanks Patti. I ended up back in the hospital for 6 days last week. In for the same thing: Lots of fluid build up around heart and lungs, CO 2 gases extremely high and as hard as I tried I could NOT stay awake. I'm happy Jim and I know the signs now and we got to the hospital BEFORE I went into a mini Coma and had to be tracked! My Family Doctor called in the Lung Doctor and he ordered some tests, one being a sleep study. I lost 25 lbs. of fluid while in there. I had an appointment at the wound care while I was in the hospital and believe it or not they took me there by ambulance. They say it's looking better, but of course I've heard that since February. I had my 4 th skin graft , so hopefully it'll be done here in a week or so, as our Insurance runs out then.

Tiffany and the kids are coming over after Church so Cody can mow. It'll probably be about lunch time, so I need to figure out something. When I was in the Hospital, most anything that was in the Fridg had to be thrown out (like Deli Meats)....No one here to eat it...Jim stayed with me at the hospital...home long enough to shower and get the mail.

I need to take some time and go back and read everything you girls have been up to...it'll take me awhile , no dangling my legs , Jim is watching that I keep them elevated.Well I guess I'll go get my Meds. Wishing EVERYONE a very Beautiful day! HUGS!

Debbie -- good to see you back on-line!! Glad you didn't wait to go to the hospital too, you gave us a terrible scare last time!!!

Vicki
- Jim and I went over to Ohio for a day trip. Stopped at Waffle House to eat then we stopped at the Half Price Books store (love that store!). Found 3 cookbooks, 1 tree identification book and Jim found some DVD's. They have a corner that's clearance, I hit that first. Found a big cookbook there that's generally priced $29.95, bought it for $2. Very Happy Very Happy Stopped at a couple of parks on the way home. As you can see in the pics Lake Erie was very windy and wavy!

I'm still trying to figure out what kind of flower this is, if you know please tell me.

Narcissus

Periwinkle

Violet

We got home around 6:30 or so, just hung out here at the house for the rest of the evening.

Jim working today, so will be pulling weeds outside and just puttering around the house.

Hope everyone has a fantastic day!
Ann

Debbie, it's so good to have you back posting again. Glad you went in earlier this time.
Ann-Marie, beautiful flower pics. Have fun pulling weeds Wink
I've been running around on the flea market all day, almost got a sun burn. The weather was so cooperative, really fun to see all the people come out and enjoying them selves on our street's flea market. But I'm totally finished by now. I'll put on some pics tomorrow.
For now I'm going horizontal, gotta be fresh and bright for tomorrow's audit class with the boss Smile See you all tomorrow.

Hey Y'all:

GS fixed my puter & then informed me that my carrier has inserted a program into its' system that causes a lot of pop ups. Any word on a page it chooses gets a double red line under it is connected to a pop up. All you have to do is get close to that word & up the ad comes. Grrrrrrr! Is driving me crazy.
Short drive Laughing Laughing

Picked up 2- 10' Queen Palms at Lowe's for $15.00 each & GS planted them for me today. They can grow to 50' in height. They are the best candidate for this far north in FL. Also replaced pipes between the hot water heater & the water softening unit......yay no leaks. Picked up a new ceiling fan with a nautical type light there also & installed it Friday night. Had been afraid to use the existing fan because it was making a loud humming noise. This new one seems to move a lot more air, hopefully it will cut down on my ac usage.

Welcome home Debbie.

{{{{{{{{{{{{{Debbie, Tango, Pattit, Nick & all who need one}}}}}}}}}

Y'all take care...

Thanks for all the "Welcome Home" greetings! You girls are the Best and I missed you! Today was a nice day....sunny and a nice temp with a little bit of breeze. My Lilac bush is loaded with bloom, so I can smell it all through the house! Rain is in our forecast for the rest of the week, but we need it. Tiffany and the kids were here all afternoon and we had a very nice visit. Had lunch together, then later in the afternoon we went out to our Fav. Cheeseburger diner for a bite of supper. Tiffany also waxed my eyebrows and gave me a manicure...both look good.

Anyway, I was headed for bed and thought I'd stop in and say good-nite. I have a few calls to make in the morning, plus the Home Care nurse is coming by sometime, so I'm Not sure I'll be here or not, but if not, I will be the next day.

Good-nite and Hugs to all!
