Morning everyone,

Whew, LOTS of people at the book sale yesterday. Most people were really decent, we'd all switch places with each other at the tables. Found 29 or 30 books for $25...alot of them were hardback books. Was trying to find the little Pillsbury magazines to fill out my collection of those...hard to find. Seen two but ones I already have, did find an older hardback which is sitting out on the kitchen table. Smile I did find two Mr. Food's too, he has such nice simple recipes. The one book was Tex-Mex, found quite a few recipes in there I want to try when we are home.

I "think" we found out why the car was stopping. Happened to us at the book sale, got in it to leave and it wouldn't start. Told Jim that this is the longest it ever did it to me, I popped the hood and he got out, moved the wires/cables around on the battery. All the lights came back on. Will be taking it to the mechanic some time today to see how much it will cost to get fixed. We did go to the auto store, they were between $7 - $9 for one cable.

Looks like we are in for some rain/t-storms today. A lot muggier than yesterday, warmer too. We are going out for dinner today, Jim found really nice coupons in the Sunday paper for Smokey Bones restaurant. They have new hamburgers and they look delicious!!

Better get around here, we talked about going back to the book sale since there were SO many people and I wanted to look at other kinds of books. Should be better today, everyone at work. Wink Smile

Take care,
Ann

Good day Ann-Marie and everybody else, have a great start of the week Very Happy

Ann-Marie, nice finding so many books. Have fun dining out today Wink
I dined in today on a Thai style red curry stir fry with chicken Very Happy

PattiT, thanks for keeping us up to date on the ones gone over to Facebook Smile
Get over that stomach flu and get well soon.
Nubbins, please do take it easy. Recovery is all about proper medication, healthy food and a good rest in time.
Martha, Myo seems to be picking up slowly. Still have to mix her food with hot water to get her to eat it. She's never been a big eater during the day, so there's no point in checking upon her. And I get home by the time she wakes up and gets hungry from sleeping all day.
I finished my first congress day. Pfew, feels almost like doing nothing and getting totally exhausted from it. Nevertheless I did attend two interesting workshops concerning digital preservation and e-depots. Lots of people are attending, close to 400. Wonder how many will attend tomorrow. Very Happy

Had a fun day today...first to the book sale (again! Shocked ) and found quite a few nice Southern Living cookbooks, then to Smokey Bones for lunch, over to Ollie's and last to the Tops grocery store. Good to be home after such a busy day! Smile Very Happy

Sure has been muggy all day, lots of rain but so far no thunder storms.

Fan - that dish looks delicious!! We need "smell-a-vision" computer monitors! LOL!! Laughing

Later,
Ann
