Hello girls. Worrying even more about Nick. He is so hyper and agitated. He is becoming hard to get along with, right now I may be the only person he talks nicely too. I know he is in a lot of pain so I give him lots of leeway. He got up early (or probably was still up) yesterday and borrowed a bike and went for a ride. Then he went to the police station and wanted to volunteer his services and the fire department with an offer of help also. I don't think they understood exactly what he was trying to convey. I got him set up to take some baked goods and cleaning supplies to a fire department in early July. I have been praying very hard of course. He doesn't seem to understand that people who are "counseling" him are doing so because they care about him. He keeps getting mad at Tina and the neighbor because they scold him for things like taking off on a bike and trying to get him to eat. I want to thank all of you who are praying for him, it is very much appreciated.

**Fan, I am so sorry I forgot to mention the shop keeper who was robbed. I am sure the whole neighborhood is on edge after that. Myo is such a beautiful cat. I hope you are able to get her to the vet soon and figure out what is wrong with her. Or better yet, if she snaps out of what ever is wrong and is her old self again. I read the articles you had posted about soused herring. Our neighbor in Germany used to always try to get me to try rollmops, um, no thanks. I can not bring myself to eat things like that not cooked. No sushi for me either.
**Ann, it will be nice for you to have a much needed rest. I hope the weather will cooperate and give you some great kayaking time in. With it being as warm as it is I guess rain wouldn't be too bad, just no thunderstorms. I love the picture of your kitty in the laundry basket. Our cat used to love to "hide" in there.
**Pat, great to hear that you got good news about your recovery from your Dr. When we lived in Arizona it was the same way, did work early in morning or after dark to avoid the heat. Glad you have your grandson to help you out. Is his friend still living with you, if so I hope he helps out also.
**Martha, I know what you mean about not wanting to have car payments again. We will probably be in the same boat soon. Seems like both of our vehicles are always needing some type of repair. I love being outside listening to the birds also. Too hot for me to do that right now. I was watering some flowers last night and saw "our" hummingbird 3 times.
**Debbie, so wonderful to see you checking in. I really wish that you were feeling better. What happens with your foot if they are giving up on the grafts? Tiffany seems to really enjoy her schooling. How is it going with your full house? Take care of yourself and I am glad that you have Jim there to help you. You got a good one there!

I hope I haven't forgotten anyone. I need to get off here and put in a call to my neurologist concerning prescriptions being so mixed up. Too many Patricia Taylors around here?!

Good day PattiT and everybody else, have a great Monday. Very Happy

PattiT, sorry to hear Nick is acting so messy due to his condition. He's clearly struggling with his emotions. Cancer patients do not only have to fight the cancer, they often have to battle them selves too. Sad . Keep an eye out for Tina too, cause she needs your support as well in trying to make things go the best for him as she can. They are in my thoughts.
The shopkeeper is calming down already, I really hope it will not happen again to him. All the shopkeepers in my street are discussing the implementation of some safety measures, like camera's.
Today I had the best job in the world, I mean sitting in the office behind my desk and having two men at my feet for at least an hour. Cool Cool Laughing And the best thing is they will come back at least another time. I can tell ya it sure heats up the office on a chilly and rainy day Wink

Hmmmm Fan, you got a pedicure at work? Ha ha. Glad you had something nice to look at.
Just talked to Nick, he seems more like himself today. Whew!
