Good day everybody, make it rock today Very Happy

Anyone for a bowl of Thai style fish soup with rice noodles and prawns?

Summer has started with low temps this year, so I'm still in the mood for soups.
At the end of this week, on Friday, the "Leidse Lakenfeesten" will kick off with a market sale in the main shopping street and the "Peurbakkentocht". It's basically a summer festival or year market. The Peurbakkentocht is a parade of dressed up boats floating on the canals. Don't know exactly which events I'm going to follow, but this year I'll definitely will visit the sales market. I already took a half day off on Friday. On Sunday there will be an "antiques" market. My camera is ready and probably my wallet gets emptied.
Ann-Marie, ready for kayaking tomorrow? Hang in there today, tomorrow will be vacation time Wink Laughing
PattiT, glad Nick sounded more like his old self yesterday.

Stopping by to check on my friends. When I was watering my hanging baskets I got stung by a bee or bees. It is really swollen and painful. Hubby is on his way home from work and then it is off to Madison's softball game. Gary's brother, sister-in-law and sister are coming to cheer her on this evening. It has "cooled" down to 91 degrees. I hope I don't melt, ha, ha.
**Fan sounds like some fun days ahead for you. I will be looking forward to seeing your photos.

I need to go get another ice pack, have a nice evening everyone.

Hey Y'all:

I think the dr. should have added a caveat onto his you are doing good statement. Like "Considering all things considered" I am learning that I may feel pretty good one day & then have 2 days of not being able to do anything but rest.

GS & I went to Walmart Sunday-microwave died Sat. nite. I used the riding buggy & didn't rush around, Monday I kept him company while he washed my car. Today I did nothing & took a nap to boot.

Patti-hope Nick starts having more "good" days than "bad".

Y'all take care...
