Good day everybody, have a smashing Sunday Laughing

I'm still bathing in sunshine and high temps. It made me soo sleepy today. Laughing Apart rom the early morning hours when it was still cool, me and Myo spent the day sleeping on the couch. If Myo only could take pics......
Early this morning I spent my time with the bees, being as busy as they were Wink It was wonderful being outside and make use of the early morning light to take pics.

Everything looks so pretty. By the time it started to get hot I returned home and decided to have dinner at lunchtime, since my kitchen is fairly cool in the morning hours but warms up quickly in the afternoon. Made a Khao phad kai [Thai style fried rice with veggies and chicken]

So tonight will be easy with French bread, goat's chees and a big slice of cold watermelon. Yum. And the smell of BBQ's from the neighbours
Wink
So, is it still raining in the US of A?

**Fan, no rain for me. Hubby watered the gardens out front today. We haven't had rain in at least three weeks or so. That rose was so beautiful. I had to be careful of the bees when I was watering the hanging baskets this morning.

We got most of the necessary chores done before lunch, now we are just taking it easy. Had an easy lunch, eggs, toast and a nice fresh fruit salad. No where near as exciting as your lunch Fan. It looked yummy.

Helloooooo anyone out there besides Fan and I??
Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend.

Hi PattiT, my lunch wasn't that exciting. Yesterday's leftover rice had to go in either a stir fry or an oven baked dish Laughing The oven is no option on hot days. Have fun chilling.

Hi Everybody.

Fan - Your pictures were gorgeous, as usual! The place where you live is so pretty. Is Myo all better yet?

Pattit - Sorry we've been getting all the rain. Today it didn't come (yet) so it was a beautiful day to be out on the deck. Temps in the high 80's.

I had some excitement on the Fourth of July. My daughter picked me up and we went on her fiance's boat out on Lake Ontario. We stayed out until after dark and watched fireworks on display at around 10 different locations along the shore. It was really nice!

I made a big bowl of Tuna/Macaroni Salad and we're having that and hamburgers for dinner. Jim has been out playing golf all day.. I know he'll be hungry, but I didn't want to have to turn the oven on.

Hello to everyone else! I know you're probably out enjoying the weather!
