Good day everybody, have a great day Very Happy

Another hot day has finished for me. We had 93F as a high in the eastern part of the country and 87F in the coastal region. I was blessed with only 86F in the office despite the two desk fans and three ceiling fans. And the director running through the five floor office building delivering ice cream to everybody working after three o'clock pm Laughing . You should have seen him running, priceless. Wink
Went to the dentist's this morning and received a new crown with a two day prohibition on consuming French fries or potatoes. As if I would like to eat them in this hot weather. Shocked . I opted for chilled avocado soup, coleslaw and a köfte burger.
Tomorrow T-storms will come in and it may cool down a bit for two days before heating up again. Better get the outside sun screens in tonight and get my a nice cold beer.
So anything happening in the US of A?

Hello, guess most of you are in bed by now. The day here was mostly spent in the kitchen and doing laundry. DeeDee who used to post here posted a very tempting picture of fried green tomatoes and I just couldn't resist. I went out in the garden and got some green tomatoes. I also made a pot of spaghetti sauce that I simmered away and added to for hours. It turned out pretty tasty. I talked to my uncle for a while today, he is celebrating his 42nd wedding anniversary. Funny to think that his anniversary is less than 2 years longer than mine. We are very close in age.
**Fan, it always amazes me when we have similar weather, with you being so far away. That had to be funny watching the director running with the ice cream. I bet it started melting almost immediately. I will post pictures of my green tomato appetizer and my spaghetti (the plate is my husband's he was really hungry) funny that you can see the steam coming off the plate. My photography skills are terrible.

I guess you will need to click on these links. I am too tired to figure out any other way to do it.
Good night girls.
