Still 19 critters, some going home today or tomorrow. I told one of the girl's that this is "critter therapy" for me. Smile Love them.

Martha - hospital food? Blah. Bland. Recover quickly so you can get back here to visit.

I know I thanked you all the other day but I wanted to thank you again for everything - the cards, the prayers, every thing.

Take care,

Ann - Good to see you back. I could use some critter therapy myself, or at least some puppy therapy! Smile

Martha - Hopefully you're in recovery by now and enjoying a restful nap.

Jeez, speaking of naps, I don't know what's wrong with me this week. Feel like someone drugged me or something. I've pretty much been sleeping all week. Sunday night I was up until after 4 am and had to be up for work at 6:40 Mon morning. Went to my sister's for dinner/TV night and managed to (mostly) stay awake through the Bachelorette finale and After the Final Rose, then went home and was still up until 3-4 am. Slept most of the day Tuesday which put me in pain form laying around for so long, then Wed and Thurs I was up and down all kinds of crazy hours pretty much doing nothing. Didn't even cook all week!! I was going to re-purpose my failed peanut butter cheesecake into chocolate coated cheesecake pops but never even did that. Maybe it's a good thing I had work today - forced me to get up and out!!

Hi everybody, have a great day Very Happy

Martha, hopefully everything went well. And as for hospital food I agree with Ann-Marie, bland. Although some hospitals do better than others. In my town the Academic scores low on food, but the Rijnland where I went for my hip surgery did a lot better. It still was a bit bland to my taste, but not too bad. The Diakonessen hospital has bland food, but their service is better.
Ann-Marie, you are welcome. Hopefully you and your family find the strength to stick together in this period. "Critter therapy" is a good medicine Wink , I suppose.
Chris, you do sound in need of puppy therapy Laughing . Have fun at work.
My weekend has started and we are about to have cocktails in an hour. Yum.
The weather is a lot cooler, but still sunny. I love it. The insects are doing well, but because of the cooler weather they are moving slower, which is wonderful for taking pics. I managed to get real close to a bee today Cool.
