Good day everybody, have a smashing day Very Happy

Today was my last "lazy" day at home. I can do without painkillers tomorrow Very Happy . Told my boss I'd be back tomorrow. It sure cuts short the office week Wink.
Spent my day sitting outside in the sun and doing groceries. I made a coconutmilk and cucumber soup for lunch. Really yummy, with mint, garlic, lime juice and green onions.

And lots of mint leaves left for a refreshing after dinner mint tea.

Anything going on in the US of A today?

Hi Everybody!
It's a little chilly today (62F) so I wasn't able to go out on the deck. I was hoping to sit in the sun and read for awhile..... but it's cloudy and breezy. Maybe my resistance is low... I had to put on shoes and socks and long pants!! Today makes it officially 6 days since I've eaten solid food, so it's no wonder!! I've lost 10 lbs of warm comforting fat! I'm feeling fine, though. I'm amazed at how fast everything is healing up. Of the six incisions, only one is a little sensitive to the touch... the others are fine! That super glue is wonderful stuff, it sure beats getting stitches.

Fan - How are you feeling? I know you said you are going back to work tomorrow.... but do you feel any better? How much mint do you put in your mint tea? Sugar? I have a huge patch of mint in my yard and I always think it's such a shame that I don't know any use for it aside from Mojitos !

Tomorrow I can start eating a little. I can eat white bread, instant rice (Shocked) and maybe a little plain pasta. No fruits, no vegetables, no meat! I'm just dying for something that doesn't come through a straw! Oh well, I gotta take it slow or I'll mess something up.

So how is everybody else doing? It's been so slow around here.... if it wasn't for good old dependable Fan... we would go days without a post. Tell me about all the food you're cooking and the desserts you're baking so I can at least fantasize!!!!
