**Latest update on Debbie from Tiffany:
As of last night mom is in good spirits. They haven't really done anything in depth yet. Probably because she didn't get there until midnight Sunday. probably more in depth testing will be done today. they have mainly just been doing normal routine stuff. Last time I talked to her they were making changes to her meds and waiting for a regular room to open up because they said she doesn't need to be in ICU.

I told Tiffany that it must be a good sign that they don't think she needs to be in ICU. I didn't get an update until 11:30 last night so that is why I didn't post anything yesterday.

We went to my sons house yesterday, hubby, Madison and her friend Lorayne went swimming, the water was too cold for me! Then we all went and played miniature golf and had dinner at an ice cream place. Her daddy Darryl, had to leave for a trip to Florida he will miss Madison's first day of school. She has orientation today for MIDDLE school, these dang kids just grow up too fast!
I have a bunch of tomatoes to take care of and laundry to do so I will be doing that today. We got a coupon in the paper for $1.00 off each dozen of corn so I think we will probably take advantage of that and load up the freezer a little. Hubby and I can make quick work of that and it is so great to have good corn in the winter.
**Patti, you got some great things at the sale. My sister had a Hoosier cabinet and sold it a couple of years ago, I just couldn't think of any place to put it in our small home, it was so sad to see it go. Looks like you will make good use of yours. It found a great home.
**Fan, did you get to sample some cheeses at the workshop? I love cheese! Sounded like a fun day.

I want to thank everyone again for their prayers and good thoughts for Nick. I hope someday soon prayers will not be needed for so many of our BakeSpace friends. My prayers have been rather lengthy lately.
Guess I better get my first load of laundry started. Have a good day everyone.

Hi,

All I am going to say about yesterday is I felt like I got kicked in the stomach and punched in the heart.

PattiT - poor Tiffany...I really do feel bad for her, it's an awful feeling. Please tell her she is being prayed for as the rest of the family is too.

Later,
Ann

Hi everybody, have a great day Very Happy

Ann-Marie, sorry to hear you had such a tough day yesterday Sad .
PattiT, thanks for the news on Debbie. How old do you have to be in the States for going to middle school? In the Netherlands you have to be 11 or 12 years before starting middle school.
I saw the end of summer morning cloud appearing this morning. This type of clouds are most common towards the end of summer.

It's also the last week of summer recess for the students, and they gradually start moving into the dorms again bringing all kind of unwanted stuff from their parents Laughing . Like this lost chess table in front of a dorm. It probably didn't match with the style of mum's make over of the family home Laughing

I just wonder how long it will survive in the boys dorm.
For dinner I've been indulging my self with deep fried hake, miso soup and soba salad. Yum! Very Happy

Thanks to the fish monger, where would I be without that bloke?
