Morning everyone,

Didn't do much on my day off, too tired and I think I have a bad sinus infection again. Rolling Eyes Evil or Very Mad The pressure has been bad for the past few weeks, just keeps getting worse so I'll be making a dr. appt for tomorrow. I covered up my legs and Willow came up, laid on the blanket...I ended up falling asleep for about a half hour or so.

In the afternoon, after taking my nap, I went up and wiped down Mom's bed and switched it out with mine. Going to give the old bedroom set to the neighbor's next door.

Working a 12 today, hoping we aren't Shocked Shocked busy, just a nice steady busy.

Hope everyone has a good day,

Good morning Ann and any one else who stops in. I hope you have an easy day at work today. It is nice of you to give the bedroom set to your neighbor. I am weird but I would be glad that it went to some one I knew, know what I mean? What you have been through is exhausting, take care of yourself. We have been letting our windows open the last couple of days and my sinuses are starting to bother me.
Hubby requested fried green tomatoes for dinner this evening, not sure what else we might have. I have more ripe tomatoes out there that I need to do something with. It is hard keeping up with them but I know I will be sad when the season is over. Nothing beats a home grown tomato. I emptied out my outdoor flower pots, every thing is dead.
We have a new guest I have been trying to get a picture of for Fan, not having much luck so I will link to a picture of her. She is very big and has a beautiful web. After I read up on her I know that her web is exactly as it is supposed to be.
It is at the end of my sidewalk among my sedum, she is so big it scares me, I think I will go through the yard to get my mail so I don't get too close to her.
I will try and check back later to see what everyone has been up to.

Hello ladies, We have been very busy, We went to a family reunion over the weekend and most of my brothers and sisters came, 1 sister from FL and 1 brother from OH didn't make it because of medical problems, but my 1 younger brother from AR made it. I was really glad to see him, it has been 9 yrs since the last time. And that was at mom's funeral. So we had about 50 people at our party. Most of them were nieces and nephews, along with siblings. There were only a few that were not kin, only 1 cousin came with her BF and some of the nephews brought their gfs. It was a lot of fun too. We went to Paris Landing State Park. Some of them had campsites and stayed in tents, but most of us stayed in the cabin that we rented for the wkd. It slept 10 people in beds, but it also had a couch and the lr floor that we put air mattresses down so we got a few more in there. It was pretty nice. Jessica and her dh Marc went out to go to the lake and I was watching John, he walked over to the door and looked out the window and said
"Where is John's Jessica?" It was so cute.
I was glad to come back home though. Just is nice to be back in my own bed.
Me and Shirley, my older sister, cooked almost all of the food ahead of time, but we still had a lo to do there. Jimmy, my gs grilled hamburgers and hot dogs, and steaks. I brought over 4 doz cupcakes and a bunch of candies, that I made, and they were all gone when we left. We had potato salad, baked beans, roast beef, fruits of all kinds, then the next day we had spaghetti and salad, with garlic bread. Plus 2 big pans of peach cobbler, Nobody went home hungry. LOL
Ann- you are still in my thoughts, today would have been my mom's 82nd birthday. She has been gone or 9 1/2 yrs now. That was really nice of you to give that to your neighbor. Hope you get to feeling better.
Pattit- thanks for keeping us updated on Debbie, I saw her post on FB yesterday. We have a few tomatoes on our vines but not many. Fried green tomatoes sound good, I may have to do a few before they are all gone for the year. It is nice out here right now, too. We have the windows open and enjoying the fresh air.
Hello to everyone else, hope you have a good day. We have a few things to get done today. So I will talk to you later.
Here is a picture of me and my sisters from the 70's that my sister gave me this weekend, I haven't seen it in years.

If I could live my life over,
I would find you sooner so I could love you longer

Hi everybody, stay cool and have a great day Very Happy

I feel like being cooked, boiled, grilled and baked. We went over 85F today. I skipped cooking, only fried köfte and made chicory salad. I went out to get the köfte and I tell ya I could have grilled them on the pavement. Shocked
Ann-Marie, we gave away my mum's bedroom set to an elderly neighbour of my sis. Mum had an elevated bedroom set and the neighbour was in need of an elevated set. Felt good to give it away to someone familiar and in need of one.
Grammadot, flower power from the 70's Laughing Laughing Laughing. I love that pic. As for your family gatherings, they are getting big. I foresee a time when one camping site will not be big enough to host all of your kin Wink
PattiT, that spider site is awesome. And it's a beautiful spider. I have not seen any similar over here. Spider season is about to start. It's probably late due to the hot and dry weather.
