Good morning everybody, have a great day Very Happy

I woke up this morning with the smell of onions and carrots. The vegetable shop in my street even set up a part of the preparation outdoors in front of the shop and has his family peeling the carrots, starting from 8am. Laughing

Traffic is already problematic in the city, and from 15.74pm [i.e. 16.14] the festivities will take off officially.
Vicki, how's your "hutspot" going?

Morning,

Only 15 critters, but we are waiting for possible triplets and even a set of twins. Shocked Shocked

They had me punch in a 1/2 hour early yesterday morning so I left about twenty after 3, couldn't wait to get out of there, so tired. Wish this cold/sinus thing would go away, tired of it. Funny part is, when I'm at work I get so congested and plugged up, I walk out of there and I clear up...it's that darned dry air. Confused Sad

Not much new really. Hope everyone is doing well.

Take care,
Ann

Good Morning, Friends!

Well, I ended up "under the weather" today. All meetings scheduled are cancelled. BUT, hutspot is still on the menu and will be made a little later. Yum, yum!! (I have time to post!) Smile

Fan - Traffic and hutspot! Just the smell of hutspot first thing in the morning is special. Is it served all week?

Ann - Get well wishes are heading your way.

~~Vicki

I haven't had herring in years, but have always liked it. Wishing Holland was a USA neighbor, especially as I hear more and more Dutch history.

I am making the hutspot as you recommended last year. Smile Smile

Good morning Ann, Fan and every one else who comes by today. I have some wonderful news to share with everyone.............Nick is officially in remission. Our prayers have been answered. I know it will take time for him to get to what will be his new normal, but I am so happy that the worst is over with! Thank you for the prayers and good thoughts from all of you.
I will try to check in later,I am hungry and am going to eat lunch now.

Vicki, I made the apple cake that you had posted and Gary took it to share with his co-workers. He called and said it was a hit.
I am makins soup today with the leftover beef and broth. Today is pretty warm so it seems like a bad day for something warm. Crazy weather!

Funny, everyone tells me it gets easier...it feels like things are actually getting harder at times. Miss her.

Temps are holding in the mid to high 70's, strange for this time of year. Maybe our Indian Summer early??? Actually kind of warm, sitting here with jeans on with a t-shirt could probably put on shorts and be happy.

Have been sneezing and hacking up a lot of stuff...and I'm tired. Hope this crap goes a way soon, afraid I'll end up at the doc's office again with sinus infection. Sad Mad

Later,
Ann
