Morning,

We are having a rainy morning, rained hard earlier, could hear it hitting the roof. We are to have rain for the next 3 or 4 days.

Went up to Thrifty Shopper yesterday afternoon. Found 5 or 6 cookbooks and a really pretty platter. They were busy, must have been because it was a nice day. By the time I got home it had gotten cloudy, then the sun only peeked every so often.

Pat/Qui - cute rhyme yesterday. Smile Smile

We should be down to about 14 critters today. Hoping it stays slow for the rest of the week, have lots of things to get caught up on at work.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day.
Take care,
Ann

Hi Ann. It is cloudy here but no rain so far. My house is nice and warm, I have my oven cleaning itself. I baked some "fried" green tomatoes last night and the smoke detector went off from something that had burned on the bottom of the oven. Rolling Eyes
It sounds like you had some really good luck at the Thrifty Shopper. What kind of platter did you get? Holiday themed, antique or did it just catch your eye? I bought a platter this weekend also, a cheap plastic one from Dollar General, ha,ha. I got tired of searching for something to send goodies to hubby's co-workers on.
I hope you are able to get caught up at work easily.
I need to figure out what I am going to make for dinner, every time I think of something, when I go to gather the ingredients I am out of something.

Hi everybody, have a smashing day Very Happy

Same story as yesterday, as soon as I poke my nose out of the door it starts raining Sad . But tomorrow will be better and stormy. Lots of work today and the rest of the week.
Ann-Marie, well done. Six books and a platter. Glad to hear the critter count went down enabling you to do some catching up.
PattiT, wish my oven could do that. I have a very old one and have to clean it out my self regularly. So what's up for dinner?
Myo made me really happy last night, she was running up and down the chairs. Taking a play mouse up and then drop it from upstairs and chasing it Laughing It's been quite some time since I saw her play like that. She's eating a lot better at the moment and performs well on the litter box too Very Happy .

PattiT - don't know if it's an antique or not...but I liked it, has flowers around it.

Fan - Oh happy day!! Glad Myo is playing. Funny, she sounds like Willow. Willow takes a foam ball to the basement stairs and lets it go then runs down to get it.

**Fan, it is wonderful to hear about Myo playing and doing so much better. My dinner was one where I found things that needed used up and added it to ground beef, put in a pastry dough and baked it. Hubby said it smelled really good as he walked in the door. He seemed to enjoy it as he was eating it. Sounds like you will be kept busy this week, does it make the time go faster.
**Carolyn, so sorry to hear of all the trouble befalling you. Wish there was something I could do.
**Ann, I would have been drawn to a platter with flowers also.
