Morning everyone,

It's gotten quite windy and the clouds are thick and dark. Guess they had anywhere from 2 to 6 inches of snow to the south of us in the snow belt areas. They can have it!! On the drive home yesterday afternoon there was a little snow mixed with the rain, it just splatted on the windshield and it didn't cover the road or grass. The computer temp is showing 45º, warmer than what it has been.

Babs -- congratulations on your engagement/proposal!!!!!

- sorry to hear you are under the weather. With not feeling good no wonder you don't feel like cooking. Sad I'm sure once things get better you'll be back to being the cooking diva. Smile

Pat/Qui - glad you like the pics. With the weather changing now not much to take pictures of other than the kitties.

Need to clean house today then go over to the grocery store to pick up some kitty litter. Don't intend on doing a whole lot today, don't feel like it...worked 4 days in a row, makes me tired.

Hi Ann-Marie and everybody else, have a great evening.

Just got back from cocktails and pizza night. Yummy melon daiquiris and salmon pizzas. The weather was even warm, slightly clouded and a bit of rain every now and then, but comfortably enough to enjoy our selves outside. Almost like summer evenings. Tomorrow I plan on going up north by train for a lecture and some shopping.
Ann-Marie, enjoy your day off. Do you have to work tomorrow? I know it's terrible for car drivers seeing people pop up in the dark with no lights. So I was fined for the right reasons. But it was an expensive morning losing 70 dollars.
Martha, I hope you get well real soon. Sorry to hear Jim is suffering, but if the weight loss works for you, he'd better accept it. Glad you enjoy the baking for the Elks club.
Qui, the bloke who fined me was rather ordinary looking and even worse he didn't fall for my female "helplessness" of not knowing how the light on my bike works. Shocked .Probably he was in need of coffee that early in the morning.

Fan - ouch -- $70!! Shocked Didn't realize it was that expensive. Yes, off tomorrow too.

Ok, gotta tell you about my little "accident." Rolling Eyes Was taking the drapes down from the TV room window and thought I had rehooked the curtain rod, fell and I turned my head so it wouldn't hit my glasses. It caught just above my left eyebrow...can see now it's a little red and a bit puffy. What a dumb thing to happen. Confused Rolling Eyes

Hope everyone has an nice evening,
