Good Morning, Friends!

With the trip to Melissa's home and a few errands there, I must do everything that was missed at home yesterday. What fun to surprise Melissa, but also my son-in-law and grandchildren. After we left, my youngest son and granddaughter surprised her with a visit, too! Smile Smile

Raking leaves is also on the agenda. More snow is supposed to arrive Monday and Tuesday. Coats and gloves are ready.

~~Vicki

Morning,

Vicki - you sound like me...run one day, catch up the next! Smile

Didn't really find a coat...well, I did but it was too short across the shoulders. Sad Will keep looking but like I told Jim, the one I have will be ok just get tired of losing the feathers out of it.

Better get around here, want to head to Asbury Woods for a little bit while the sun is shining.

Later,
Ann

Good day Vicki, Ann-Marie aned everybody else, have a great Saturday Very Happy

Ann-Marie, too bad you didn't find THE coat yet. I really hope you'll get a lucky strike and find one before the winter kicks in. Have fun at Asbury Woods . Do the trees still have leaves? Most of our trees have no leaves any more.
Vicki, sounds like the sour follows the sweet. But if it's of any comfort, I still have to do most of my chores too. Just got my laundry started.
I spent today in idle emptiness and only cooked dinner for lunch. I tried Congolese chicken Moambe. Yummy, with braised cabbage on the side.

So for dinner I'm going to have a simple sammy and a bit of fruit.

Fan - some trees do still have leaves but it's so windy they won't be on there for long. Hoping before the first big snow the leaves are off, if not there will be lots of branches down.

Here is one picture that I really liked and if you look close you'll see leaves falling:

Ann-Marie, beautiful pic. Indeed most of the leaves are fallen already and you can see them fall.

I wish the pic was a little bigger, tried twice to make it bigger so that you wouldn't have to squint to see the leaves. Sad Had a good walk through the woods, felt good to be outside and it was a bit windy and brisk, still felt good though. Smile Enjoyed it.

Hi everybody, have a smashing Sunday Very Happy

Ann-Marie, lovely capture of king Leo on his throne Smile . Glad you enjoyed your outing yesterday.
I've spent my day doing my chores, which became a little cumbersome since the hot water supply died halfway Twisted Evil . Can't get it going either, so the water kettle had to come to the rescue. Luckily the rest went more smoothly.
Made "Hutspot" on rye bread for lunch.

Didn't feel like going outside to day, cause each time I poked my nose out of the door it started raining, so after three times I gave up, turned up the heater and made my self comfortable on the couch with some magazines and just wishing you to have the better share of the weather. Wink

happy weekend... pics, family visits, food, visits, chores, things to do and things accomplished - is it any wonder we like BS so much?

Cathy Wiechert is in Vegas for the Pillsbury 46th Annual Bake-off.
She starts at 8 AM tomorrow.

Not much happening here - I have a new list for the week - going to Orlando on Fri. for a conference - and I have a bit of laundry to do...

Thinking about food - maybe some stir fry with shrimp over rice...maybe... and if I make enough for leftovers, I can have egg fu yong for breakfast.
