Morning everyone,

What a busy day yesterday!! We were up to 20 critters again, thankfully two went home, so hopefully today should be a bit quieter. HA!! When someone says that word at work we all look at them and say, "now you jinxed us!" Surprised Very Happy

Not looking forward to the wintry weather over the weekend:

..LAKE EFFECT SNOW WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING...
* ACCUMULATIONS...OVER 6 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS POSSIBLE.
* TIMING...THE HEAVIEST SNOW WOULD LIKELY OCCUR FROM SATURDAY EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY AFTERNOON.

Hoping that since it's a "watch" and not a "warning" that we won't get the snow they are calling for.

Better get around here.
Later,
Ann

Good Morning, Friends!

Ann is correct... Great Lakes snow is definitely coming this weekend (mostly on Saturday). My daughter will probably get even more than we do, living closer to Lake Michigan.

Ann - Wow! You definitely did have a critter increase!!

Fan - Do you know the size of the pearl sugar for Sugar Bread? I am looking for my speculaas molds, now that you mentioned it. (My husband moved my baking supplies... the search is on.) Was your cold, snowy weather temporary or permanent?

Greetings to all!
~~Vicki

Hi everybody, have a smashing day Very Happy

I'm in the weekend already. Very Happy Very Happy Picked up some Sinterklaas chocolates and tomorrow I'll go out for some speculaas. Tomorrow Sinterklaas will hit my town, don't know whether I'll go to see him coming in by boat.
Winter was only temporarily and today I met up with a Sinterklaas and Zwarte Piet who were working at the flower stall. They were having a tough time standing in the cold, Sinterklaas was even sheltering behind the window from the wind Laughing

Vicki, the size for the pearl sugar is at least size 4.
Ann-Marie, I keep my fingers crossed for you.
