The last day of November - already...

Nothing to report for T-day - and no shopping till today - then just the grocery.

Bargain of the month for December - Customer appreciation month

Subway has 6" sub, cold cut or meatball - $2.00 - yep - TWO.
What a deal

Morning Pat and everyone,

Pat/Qui - that is a good deal!! I like Subway subs, use to eat there all the time when I worked at the shop.

Vicki - sounds like a nice quiet Thanksgiving at your house. What did you cook/bake for it???

Grammadot - WOW, you and the kids got some really good bargains!! Awesome!!

Someone brought the paper in yesterday to work, there was of course TONS of ads and I looked through them while eating lunch. Target had a Nikon camera for $99, usually priced at $229. Shocked We stopped after work and the kid told Jim that they were sold out Thurs night. Confused I played with the display one and you know...my Fujifilm was actually heavier than that one. I don't know if I would have bought one if they had any left, guess I was just curious. Fun to look. Smile

Think I'll go and get some jeans on, the sun rise is just beautiful this morning, dark pink...need to go take some pictures.

Later,
Ann

Good Morning, Friends!

I did go to the grocery store, which was not bad. Then, I made one more stop... the lines were so long that it was the last place we went. Today, I am baking those cookies and likely oatmeal yeast bread.

Pat - Good choice... grocery store. Are you getting a Subway sub?

Ann
- I made a broccoli salad. Originally, I had plans to bring a lot more, but my MIL shortened what everyone could bring. Enjoy taking pictures this morning. (The sun hasn't shown up here yet.)

~~Vicki

Hi everybody, have a smashing weekend Very Happy

Qui, last of november and no deals or bargains here either apart from my neighbours cocktails. Laughing
Ann-Marie, I had to many clouds and rain this morning to see the sun. Your pics are beautiful. Sorry the Nikon camera was sold out already.
Vicki, have fun baking cookies. Did you find your speculaas molds already?
Sinterklaas finally arrived in my street today.

With his "Zwarte Pieten",

and they were entertaining,

sharing candy with the children,

and even chasing me to exhaustion for a pic.
Laughing
Think I need a nap with Myo on the couch to get over it Wink TTYL

Hello everyone, had house guests until last evening so I was not able to keep up on-line. I checked on the latest for Debbie, one post had said that they put her on medication for her heart, which ended up impacting her liver in a bad way, took her off and her heart rate shot through the roof, so put her back on the medication harming her liver, today Tiffany posted that they needed to shock her heart, and then posted this:

Dr. Pamphylis cardio Dr. Says in order to do the shock they will have to put her under and they aren't sure her lungs can take it so she may have to be put on the vent so he is going to try more meds for the weekend and see how it is Monday so he can have the whole team of Doctors.. If it becomes an emergency they will go forward with it.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, lots of good food and awesome family time.
Hubby is pretty sick, sounds like bronchitis. He had a coughing fit last evening, Nick and Tina looked at each other, then said maybe they should leave earlier than planned so hopefully Nick will not come down with anything. I am leaving soon for the store at the end of the street to get him some things to help him feel better, hopefully.

Poor Debbie, that doesn't sound very good. I'll keep her in my prayers.
PattiT, thanks for keeping us updated. Sorry to hear your hubby isn't well and that Nick had to leave earlier as planned because of it.

Hello Everyone.

Sorry to hear about Debbie. It really doesn't sound very good, but we'll keep praying for a miracle.

Pattit - This is no time for your Hubby to come down with something!! Hope it goes away quick. Probably best for Nick to leave early... but what a disappointment, huh?

Vicki - I'm with you about the shopping. Staying in and keeping warm sounds like a better idea.

Ann - See, I guess that camera just wasn't meant to be. I never like to shop this weekend. I think most of the sales are scams, except a few "crowd-baiters" like electronics and toys and you have to be there when the store opens! Most of the time, if it's a real sale - they have lots of them and will still be there for awhile. I know last year in Walmart they had piles of advertised items even later in the week. Anyway, I don't have many to buy for and I don't know what to get them anyway. Rolling Eyes

Fan - I love the photos of Sinterklass. It makes me laugh whenever I see the pictures of all his little helpers in blackface makeup. Over here, everyone would have a fit!! It's considered hugely politically incorrect to EVER wear blackface. I don't understand why if it's done respectfully!

Qui - Wow that's a good deal at Subway. I might just go right now and get one!

We had a nice Thanksgiving. Jim came and my daughter and her fiance. My Mother didn't want to come. Mad So I finally stopped nagging her and let her alone. The nursing home brought her a nice turkey dinner. She is really having trouble with her hearing. She says she can hear my voice but can't make out the words. I scheduled her to see a doctor but it won't be for awhile.

Hi to anybody else out there! Stay warm.....

Morning everyone,

Well, here we are in December already. I was told in high school that as a person gets older time goes faster...and wow, was that teacher right!!! Shocked

That's something about Debbie, hoping and praying she is able to pull out of everything that is going on with her.

Headed into work shortly, hoping the critters are good today. There are two that are rather special, maybe I'll get to hold them a couple of times through the day.

Martha - I don't like to go near the stores on Black Friday either, but that was too good to pass up. I wasn't impressed with that camera, really do like my Fujifilm, sure has taken some beautiful pictures with it.

PattiT - that's too bad about Nick leaving early, but I'm sure he knows what is best for himself. With all the stuff going on his immune system must be awfully weak. Sad Hope your husband is well soon.

Hope everyone has a wonderful day,
Ann
