Good morning everybody, have a magnificent start of the day Very Happy

Seen quite a bit of horrible snow file footage on the news today while I'm running around town having temps up to almost 50F. The contrast Europe and USA couldn't be bigger, I suppose.
I'm still working on my magazines, the pile looks almost endless. And sometimes I almost fall a sleep. Luckily there's plenty of coffee to force me to pull through. I really want this to be done and over with.
Hope you all stay warm and out of the snow today. TTYL

Good Afternoon, Friends!

A bit of out-patient surgery this morning, and a bit of waking up this afternoon. Now, I'm trying to get this computer to refunction, but that may take a visit to the computer repair facility which would take days. And, loading these pages takes a half hour or more.

We're having homemade soup that I froze for day, just like today. Smile

Fan
- You're 50's seem nice and toasty. Smile My husband has already cleared snow off the roofs here and his mother's home a few times.

**Fan, more snow headed our way tomorrow! Your weather sounds much more enjoyable. Sounds like a daunting task going through those magazines. I try so hard to keep up with. Mine but I just can't, too many free offers for magazines I suppose. Fish don't sound like very exciting company at the pet shop. Hopefully the shopkeeper provided good conversation.
**Vicki, sorry to hear that outpatient surgery was needed, hope you are feeling like yourself real soon. Good homemade soup does sound good on these chilly days.

I needed some prescriptions from in town so I thought I would try and go get them myself since my legs have been doing well lately. The end of the driveway was plowed shut so I didn't have any choice but to take the truck (4-wheel drive.) It only took two tries to get out, but three to get back in, too stubborn to put it in 4-wheel drive. Naturally I left my store note on the table at home, good thing I only needed a few things. I was very frustrated to find no holiday colored M&m's. I had to buy another brand and they were over $4.00 for a small bag.
Hubby and son will be stopping in South Dakota for the night. I am glad that he calls frequently, except for when I was in the hospital this is the longest we have been separated since he was in the army. They sent a picture last night of them making snow angels after getting out of the hot tub. Silly guys!

Dryer is calling better go. See you all tomorrow.

Hi Everybody!

It's 9°F outside and I'm officially snowed in! Luckily I've been baking cookies all day so it is keeping the house warm and toasty. The snow in my driveway is about 2 ft deep and where it meets the road the plows have pushed it almost waist high! It's a good thing I don't have to go any where because I wouldn't make it. When I run out of flour, sugar or eggs I will just have to start digging. It looks so pretty!!

Fan - I loved the photo of Myo playing with her new toy. She was having a great time. Good to see her being so frisky.

Vicki - I have a bunch of homemade soup in my freezer too. Isn't it great? I put it in individual size servings and just pop it in the microwave whenever I'm craving some nice hot soup. I don't know how I managed before they invented the microwave!

Pattit - Show us the picture of your hubby and son making snow angels! How cute! When will they be coming home?

Ann - How are you doing in this weather? It doesn't look like there's any end in sight, does it?

I still didn't put up a Christmas Tree. I put a wreath on the door and some decorations in the windows....that's it. I can't believe the holiday is creeping up on us so fast!! I'll never have time to do all the things I wanted to do.

Hi to anybody else who drops in..... I have to get back to my cookies.
