Morning,

Poor Debbie...no, things aren't sounding good for her. Sad Sad Some things are sounding a bit too familiar for me. Makes my stomach turn.

Didn't do much yesterday, did get my hair cut. Came home and Jim made lunch, then we sat around all day. This isn't good...I'm usually on the go but lately all I wanna do is sit around. Need to get more active again. Becoming a tv junkie and not liking it.

Going in to see how many critters we have and if not a lot, have a feeling I'll be coming home early.

Hope everyone has a good day,
Ann

OMG, poor Debbie. She'll need our prayers. Sad
PattiT, so glad to hear Nick's tests came out clear. Have a fun B-day with them. Are your knees still hurting?
Ann-Marie, I saw a half frozen Niagara Falls on telly. Awesome and amazing, almost wished I was there to see it. Surprised . Are conditions getting any better on the roads today? Sounds like you are hit by the winter blues, you need sunshine. Have fun at work.
My days are still about clearing up the mess my vacation has created, but I'm beginning to see some light at the end of the tunnel. Hopefully I can finish of the urgent things by tomorrow and dive in to the tedious policy stuff next week.
The weather is still warm, but you can feel the cold coming up already. Chances of some snowfall by Tuesday. I hope The weather will hold up till Saturday, cause I may go up north again for a lecture.
Carolyn, is your weather getting any warmer yet? Did your daughter make it safe home?
Martha, are you snowed in and without power?
Stay warm and safe everybody, hopefully the snowy mess goes away soon.

Hi Everybody!

I'm not snowed in but it's too cold to go anywhere! Single digits and below zero!! I hate even going out for the mail!! Tomorrow I will have to brave it.... I have to go see my Mother and take goodies to the Club. (I made an apple gallett and cinnamon/walnut muffins.) We haven't gotten much additional snow in the last few days, but it's real windy and cold. It's supposed to warm up this weekend to maybe low 40's... maybe even rain. Evil or Very Mad

Too bad about Debbie. It doesn't sound good and it must be awfully scary. Prayers go out to her and her family.

Pattit - Glad to hear the good news about Nick! What a great birthday present!

Ann - I heard about them closing the thruway! There were a lot of accidents around Rochester. Mostly people going off the road because of the ice. I'm glad you took "Toes" in for awhile. I opened the sliding glass door to the deck and let my two have a look. The snow was up to their necks on the deck! They sniffed it and said "whoa" and came back in the house.

Fan - It takes sooo long to recuperate after vacation, doesn't it? Sounds like you're getting there, though. In answer to your question.... I'm lucky that I hardly ever lose power in the bad weather because in my neighborhood, the power lines run underground so they are protected. Good thing because living right on the lake like I do, we get lots of storms and high winds!

Hi to anybody else out there.... stay warm!!
