Carolyn, hang in there. Just know I'll pray for them all and you. As well as for everybody else who can use some mental support.

Ann-Marie, how's the critter count? How's driving now the snow melts away and everything get flooded?

Vicki, I'm still clueless about the outcome of your match and since you are awfully quiet, I take it that Hope had a victory over Calvin Laughing

PattiT, have you recovered from the B-days? Did you hear anything from Debbie?

On a happier note, my view count on Flickr surpassed the 100,000 views last night Very Happy and the sun is winning over the moon, cause I came home before sundown, 4.45 pm, just in time to see my house by daylight.

Good Afternoon, Friends!

Sorry for not posting... I've been local, but not at home.

Carolyn - My prayers are truly with you and your family.

Ann - Hoping the numbers increase soon.

Fan - What a delicious lunch you shared yesterday. Did you make the sauce or buy it? Thank you for sharing Carolyn's post. AND, congratulations on your Flikr account! Very Happy

Hope beat Calvin. In college, I was biased. As a graduate it is wonderful for fellowship. Both colleges were totally Dutch in the mid-1800's, but certainly not now... people from around the world.

~~Vicki

Vicki, I bought the sauce and added a bit of onions and mackerel. I know there are recipes for this sauce, but I wanted to get the general taste of this sauce first before trying it out by my self using the recipes available.
Calvin and Hope being Dutch in the mid-1800's is quite early. But my relatives weren't there at the time. They started emigrating in 1892 for Grand Rapids following a German-Baptist Minister called Peter Johannes de Neui.
Carolyn, you are welcome.

Fan - We have only cod and tilapia on hand.

Five out of eight of our grandparents immigrated from Holland. So, they were not around when the colleges started either. Smile

Hi everybody!

{{Carolyn}} You always have so much to deal with!!Shocked I certainly hope things improve!

Fan - You actually got to see your house in daylight? Does that mean the days are getting longer, I hope? Or are you just sneaking out early? Laughing

Our snow is just about gone (again!) The temps got up to 50 today. The only snow piles left are the ones along the road and that will probably be gone by morning. Now they are worrying about flooding... always something!!

I lost my internet connection for a few days. I don't know what happened, but it came back on today. I get my internet via satellite dish... so it has nothing to do with cables or wires or whatever. oh, well... just one of those little mysteries I guess!!
