We are in the depths of another cold spell again, computer temp is showing 13º but the wind chill is 2º. Don't mind the snow, but as I get older can't handle the cold as well anymore. Sad And tomorrow isn't looking any better. Be a good day to clean the hobby room. Smile That's another place that has turned into a catch-all. Confused

When I went into work yesterday we were up to 11 critters but one went home through the evening. Hoping to be busy today, lots of procedures going on so maybe we will get one or two little critters.

Got Jim up this morning, he can run me into work, NOT walking this morning from the parking lot to the building. That made me shiver just thinking about it!!

Good to hear from everyone.

Take care,

Partly cloudy and bitter cold. Light snow or flurries at times. Little accumulation
HIGH: 5-10
WINDS: NE to N 10-15
WIND CHILL: Below zero (0 to -10)

Hi Ann-Marie and everybody else, stay warm today Smile

My country is divided into two parts as far as the temps are concerned. The upper half has temps around freezing point and the lower part is having temps around 7C. The upper half may get some snow and for me in the lower half it's all about rain. Yuck.
Ann-Marie, glad the critter count is going up again. Thumbs up for Jim Wink
Martha, must be awesome to get so much positive feedback on your desserts. Too bad I can't have a bite. Sorry to hear you are going to be cooked up indoors because of the snow. But you are always welcome to enjoy the rain with me over here. Laughing
I'm about to finish my day at the office, two mails to go and I'm off. TTYL

Good morning girls. Yesterday the skies were so grey and I heard that the snow was to begin around 4 so I didn't walk to the DG. Silly me, I didn't realize they meant 4 a.m. Oh well I came down with a bit of tummy troubles and was glad I was near a bathroom anyway. I have been eating salad for one meal every day and apparently my system does not care for that. I am trying to eat more healthy, hubby is not helping. He asked last evening if I wanted some ice cream, I told him no and he said then I am not going to have any either. I had to tell him why I didn't want any so that he would go ahead and have some.
It is snowing pretty hard here today. I have to worry about hubby driving the parts car today for work and my son decided to go to his roommates mothers funeral for support. I will worry until I hear both are home safe and sound. Predictions are from 6 to 9 inches. My son drives a Mustang which is terrible in the snow. He did get a ride from a friend but had to drive to his house to catch it.
I talked to Debbie last evening. It was so good to hear her voice. So different from the last time I talked to her. (That was within hours of her going to the hospital.) She says she is busy right now but when things settle down a bit she will try to get on BakeSpace once again. Jim had made them chicken fajitas for dinner. She sure has a great husband, and she knows it. She said they are both dieting together. I am sure that will make a difference. I used to go to a website that had great Weight Watchers recipe, I told her I would see if it is still around. We could get great ideas from there.
**Martha, I always check the posts from the night before so post away any time you get a chance. It is wonderful to get good feedback about you baking. Gary has been working on getting our basement cleaned and organized for months now. It was quite a mess before he started cleaning it up, of course it is all the "junk" that he insists on keeping. Such as rotted tires??
**Patti, it seems odd that so many of us have been sick for so long. Every time I think I am better, BAM it is back again. I hope you and Jim are well soon. My son is at a funeral today. I hope you have better weather for yours. Funny thing, my son hasn't been to a funeral since his grand parents, he asked me if I thought this funeral would be outside. It was hard not to laugh.
**Fan, the weather is funny isn't it. I heard that Colorado was supposed to be in the 60s today. The west is also in a drought. Too bad we can't even things out a bit. I bet California would love to see some snow, ha ha.By now you are home from the office, how is Myo been doing?
**Ann, Glad to hear that the critter count is going up. The really cold weather doesn't reach us until tonight I see you got yours ahead of us. So glad that Jim can drive you to work.

Need to get myself busy here, talk to you all later.
