Morning,

Hopefully February isn't as cold and blustery as January was...that was bone chilling. I won't thaw out now 'til June!! LOL!! Very Happy Laughing

Fan - the critter count is slowly going down again, we were at 14 sent one home yesterday...today through the weekend 3 or 4 more are to go home. I'm happy to see them go home but hate to see anyone lose their hours.

Vicki - no, no extra bookcase...yet. Wink I do need to go through my cookbooks upstairs and move things around. I had gotten an old dresser when we cleaned Mom's cottage out (was her Mom's), so will be making room one day that both Jim and I both here.

We are suppose to have a major warm up for the next two days, today is to be 32º, Saturday is to be 42º! But...Saturday is to be a really messy day - rain, freezing rain and snow. Glad I am off!!!

Hope everyone is doing better, keeping warm and safe.

Later,
Ann

Hi everybody, TGIF Very Happy

My weekend started with the routine check for ovary cancer. Could have wished a nicer start, but it's all over for now and hopefully the next five years. So I went out happier than I went in there and decided to comfort my self with comfort food for dinner. Comfort food on Friday means fish, so the fishmonger had to cook part of my dinner; fish without chips, but with a Turkish onion salad.

Ann-Marie, sorry to hear people are losing hours because of the critter count going down. No plans for Saturday, I presume. At least I wouldn't with freezing rain on the roads.

The warm up of yesterday and today have not been so good for us. Our kitchen has developed a leak from the roof above it. Sigh. It seems like the house is showing it's age all of a sudden. My son says we should call our insurance agent about the roof. I will run that past hubby to see what he thinks.
Hubby is at James' house replacing a headlight for him.
Tomorrow is a big swimming event for Madison, it is being held at her school. We are picking up the soft pretzels from the factory for them to sell. I hope the snack bar is able to make good money for the team.
Darryl is making arrangements for his missions trip to Guatamala. Their driver that was taking them to the airport isn't able to go so hubby arranged his schedule so that he can take them. I always worry about Darryl on these trips. But it is amazing the help that they do for the orphanage where they go.
**Ann, I hope not many hours are cut due to the lowering critter count. Did you get any cookbooks from your mom's cottage? I thought of that when you said you got a dresser from there.
**Fan, what kind of fish is that, it looks so good. It is good to have that appointment out of the way. Did Myo beg for any of the fish?

Gotta go unload the dryer, have a good weekend everyone?
