Morning,

Just came in from cleaning the car off, not bad outside, cold but doesn't seem bitter...'til I walk into work! Then I'll get the wind off Lake Erie. {{Shivered}} just thinking about it. I have my sweatpants on over my scrubs so at least I won't be frozen by the time I get into work. Smile

Kind of happy with getting the hobby room cleaned up, still have some things to move around but not much. At least we can walk in and out without having to step over something or turning sideways. I hate that we use that as a catch-all room sometimes but that's where stuff goes.

Better get around here, need to leave shortly.

Take care,
Ann

Good Morning, Friends!

Just like Ann, we have very chilly temperatures. BUT, we may approach 30 degrees by the end of this week... what a warm up! Today or later this week, I plan on going to the gardens here that I usually visit in the summer.... will wear lined jeans, warm coat, and boots. Smile

Ann - Good job on working on your hobby room. I have certain rooms that need catching up, too.

Greetings to all who follow!
~~Vicki

EEEEkkk wish spring would hurry up and get here. We got more snow yesterday and we still have people without power in our county, which was the hardest hit. The governor and then the president declared our county and some around Philly disasters and a lot of people from surrounding states have people helping with the electricity. In driving this weekend we saw a lot of damaged areas, we were really really lucky to have escaped anything major.
The sun is shining bright right now, makes it seem warmer any way.
**Fan, your country is doing great in the Olympics! I love watching the skating and skiing! Hubby loves curling. Except for the one major glitch with the Olympic rings the opening ceremony was downright magical.
**Ann, brrrr you are probably even more ready that me for some spring. Sounds like you are making some real headway in the hobby room. If we had an extra room I am sure it would be our catchall.
**Vicky, those recipes of Laurie's were great weren't they. What kinds of things will there be at the gardens this time of year? You will be warming up and we will be getting hit with more snow. Yuck!

Not much planned for today, have the laundry done, beds made, dinner is planned so I guess I will play around on the computer awhile. Have a great day every one.

Good day everybody, stay warm.

It was warm, clouded and quiet weather today. Silence for a big storm to hit us by Wednesday and Thursday. Walked home with my coat open and still felt hot.
PattiT, I noticed. Saturday gold, silver and bronze, Sunday gold and today gold, silver and bronze again. And I didn't have the time to watch it. I'd better not watch it at all, cause if I start watching the Olympics now the medal rain may com to a halt. Wink . Sounds you had a lucky escape from the last storm.
Vicki, did you watch the speed skating too? It definitely would have warmed you up seeing the orange colours.
Ann-Marie, good job on the hobby room. I only have one spare room turned into a guest room, walking closet, library and cat's room for an hour every day, my catchall is in the attic.
Tomorrow is biking day to the external storage. We need to get rid of old files. It'll be nice being out of the office and getting involved in some physical activity Cool .

PattiT - Did you make Laurie's recipes, too? We did not go today... too much Lake effect snow/clouds. I'll try to take pictures of what we see, maybe frozen waterfalls and more on a clearer day. Two days this week we may hit 30... true warmth. Smile

Fan - I definitely saw the King and Queen of Holland/Netherlands, speed skating, and the lovely Dutch orange. Enjoy that biking tomorrow. How nice that you have it scheduled before the storm on Wednesday and Thursday.

~~Vicki
