Morning everyone,

Fan - glad you are getting better. The colds that we are getting anymore are terrible and they hang on for so long. Sad

- that sucks about the cramps. Do you have diverticulitis?? Mom had it, said about how bad her stomach would hurt, she ate lots of yogurt.

Didn't do a darn thing yesterday...well, I did throw sheets and a blanket into the washer & dryer....other than that, nothing. I had no energy whatsoever. I don't know if the antibiotic and Prednisone is kicking my butt or I'm just wiped out from work or it's a combination of all of it. Was on the recliner most of the day, I did sew a cross for one of the ladies that I got to know at work...very pleasant, very nice lady.

I was told one of the side effects is not sleeping at night, the first two nights I was awake at 2 am, Wed night I slept pretty good but last night was yucky...I slept but it wasn't a deep sleep.

Guess I had better get around here, need to head in shortly and see what's new with all those little critters.

Hope everyone has a great Friday!

Hi Ann-Marie and everybody else, have a smashing Friday Very Happy

Still coughing, but present at the office today. Office time is almost up and the weekend about to start. I have a grocery run planned and for tomorrow a bacon run up north.
Martha, thanks for the compliment. Glad you enjoyed the pics.
Ann-Mari, it could be the medication making you feel so crappy. Get well soon and have fun with the critters.
PattiT, hello there. I saw you being around, just don't sneak in before me Wink

Good Morning, Friends!

I'm on the road in less than a half hour... a few errands across town. More rain/snow in the forecast. In fact, a TV station checked with Holland MI: Will there be tulips for Tulip Time due to all this cold weather. Answer: Yes.

Sending "Get Well" wishes to Ann, Fan, and Martha.

Hello, another dreary day today. The weather yesterday really cooperated with our traveling plans. Hubby and I visited a winery and found some great wines, one was a mango wine, never heard of that before, it was delicious. Hubby picked a blueberry wine and we also selected one to make some sangria with. The owner was very nice and we enjoyed our conversations with him.
Next we had a nice picnic overlooking the river, I was so glad that it was warm enough that we didn't need a jacket. I walked across the street to look for sea glass, but sadly the river hadn't receded enough to look for any. The river came up to the edge of the road.
We then went to the marina to pick up the new propeller. Our motor is about 30 years old and they told hubby it was time to buy a new one. We figure as long as this one works well and we can get parts why buy a new one?? It has tons of horse power and we would not want to pay what it would cost to get one to match it.
We then went to the grocery outlet store, years ago we found some apricot Tang from Japan that we loved, of course they have never had it again. They have great bargains but you have to be sure and check to see if it is out of date. I thought we checked everything but I opened up some Poppycock popcorn with dried apples, walnuts and pecans. The minute I opened it I noticed it smelled rancid and was about 5 months out of date, I hope I didn't mess up with anything else. We got two big boxes and a bag of things for about $30.00.
The rain held off until we got home and unloaded the car.
**Ann, those meds could definitely be making you tired.
**Fan, glad that you will have the weekend to try and recover from your cough etc. I stay logged in all the time, so I am not sure if I was really on when you saw me or not.
**Vicki, I have seen some tulips getting ready to bloom around here. My daffodils are almost ready to bloom I thought for sure today would be the day when they would start opening up but so far none have.
Happy weekend everyone.
Nick will be dropping in for a brief visit tomorrow, Tina's niece is having a birthday party that they are going to. I won't get much of a visit but since they will be coming for Easter I can console myself with a longer visit then.
