Martha - nothing new with's been eat, work and sleep for me lately. I feel like I am working my life away. Those 12 hr shifts just seem so long to work and it's the WHOLE day. Sad Looking forward to my vacation. I'm on the countdown now, ten more days and I'll be outta there for ten days! Very Happy

Fan - we had hard rain again yesterday. Crazy weather. They said on the weather that the lows that we are having should be the lows we are getting at night time not during the day. Odd weather pattern this Spring.

PattiT - by the sounds of it you got hit with the tail end of that storm the Midwest was getting, we did too. Did you get that horrible wind??

I was busy hectic all day yesterday, was by myself 'til 5. Was glad to get out of there at 7:30. Sent a critter home and ended up with two more through the day. All heck just seem to break loose around noon or so.

Better get around here, need to brush my teeth. Thankfully this is a short day. Smile

Good morning Ann-Marie and everybody else, have a great day Very Happy

Today the sun has come back Cool and yet the temps are still comfortable. And it's almost Friday Very Happy .
Martha, in UK english they are called French beans and in US english the word string bean is used. I used the wrong word yesterday Embarassed
Sounds like you have been working real hard on the refurbishments and I bet the kitties love to have a bed in their room Laughing Myo uses the bed in her room all the time.
Ann-Marie, the weather is extreme. Florida and Alabama being flooded.
I wonder how Nubbins is doing. Will she manage to keep her feet dry?
Did anybody hear from Debbie lately?
PattiT, anything planned for today?
Gotta go back to my files, TTYL.

Good afternoon girls. I am sitting on my front porch enjoying some much nicer weather. We had torrential rains and thunderstorms last night. I think we will be free of storms at least for a little while anyway.
Hubby went out for breakfast with a friend and then they went to the driving range for a little while. Way to wet for a real golf game.
Hubby and I puttered around outside most of the afternoon. He was digging out dandelions and I tried to cut off some dead flower heads but unfortunately my back was having none of that. I had bought three pots to hang from the deck railing so we installed them and filled it with potting soil. Then we had an unexpected project of fixing a kitchen cabinet door that had decided to fall down. Glad we were able to fix it, hubby wanted to give up but I kept going until we figured it out. I would never buy "hingeless"doors again!
My gosh Fan, you always make your meals look so delicious! We had salads with grilled chicken on them for dinner last night. Neither one of us is very hungry tonight so he will have a sandwich and I will have a bowl of cereal. Something nice an easy on the tummy.
Do you have any special plans for your vacation from work Ann? Or is being off work for 10 days special enough?
Martha it is good to hear from you. Sounds like you are getting things accomplished. How are you feeling? You are probably starting to get spring fever also and will be out in your flower beds before long. Hopefully the deer will be nicer to us this year.
I have been worried about Nubbins also, I hope she is alright. I guess it depends on what part of Florida you are in. My BIL's sister is in Florida on vacation and she has been sending beautiful pictures to us.
I have seen Debbie posting on FaceBook and she seems to be doing well. She had a Dr.s appt. earlier this week and she said everything was good.
My sweet hubby just offered to bring me a cocktail to enjoy out here on the porch. I guess I will keep him, tee hee.
Hope everyone has a great evening, see you tomorrow.
