Morning everyone,

Fan - since it's a park and everything in it is protected, would be fined if caught taking out the wild garlic. Shocked Cutting trees is a lot of work, glad you had a grasshopper and some spiders to help. Very Happy Laughing

We went to OH and spent the day there. Stopped at Waffle House for lunch then to Half Priced Books, stopped at a couple of flea markets and came home. Was good to get out, get away for a day.

Headed into work shortly, was told there were 9 critters, must have gotten two as two was to go home on Thur. Interesting.

Later,
Ann

Good Morning, Friends!

This weekend was wonderful. Friday, our park picnic ended up here (instead of a park) with the grill due to rain, but we enjoyed having our children and grandchildren join us for Karl’s birthday. Saturday, we celebrated our grandson’s birthday and watched two all-star baseball games in Holland. Sunday, we celebrated Karl’s birthday with Karl’s mom, brother, and sister-in-law.

Today, I will work outside until it rains. Then, I will begin to disassemble part of the special bunk bed (Karl’s dad built) to give to Adam and Melissa. Karl’s dad made it so each piece would fit in his Honda. Now, we may do the same thing, unless they bring their truck. He also created ten drawers attached to the top and bottom bunks.

Ann – Sounds like you had a fun day yesterday.

Fan – Today is the big game between the Netherlands and Chili at noon our time, 6 pm your time. I hope the Dutch do better than the USA (tie) yesterday.

Time to get off the computer and start the work intended for today.
~~Vicki

Good day everybody, make it rock Very Happy Laughing

The weather is sunny and warm today. Perfect for taking Myo on the bike to the vet's. Took her there at 8.30am and was allowed to pick her up at 11am leaving behind three molars and one tooth. Spent the rest of the day indoors keeping an eye on her. She's still groggy and sleepy, but other than that she's fine. We both settled for a nap on the couch in the afternoon.
Vicki, too bad the rain started that early. Glad you and Karl had a great weekend celebrating two B-days.
Ann-Marie, too bad. Would have been nice to make a dish with wild garlic Smile . Glad you are still on nine critters. I'll keep my fingers crossed for a few more.
The Dutch are preparing for the match. Streets are getting quiet by now, but supermarkets have been run over by people buying tv-dinners and snacks. Take-aways have called in all of their delivery staff for tonight, and pub owners have ordered extra beer. The China-man in our street even double checked his delivery scooters and I'm cooking my self a Thai curry with prawns Laughing
Vicki, the USA didn't do too bad, they still have a window to get to the next round. And Portugal still is a strong team, despite of their losses recently in Europe.
Gotta prepare my dinner, want to have everything ready in order to start stir frying in half time. TTYL
