Morning everyone,

Had yesterday off so I cleaned house in the morning. Was rather muggy so I came downstairs, had been running the sweeper upstairs and cleaning the bathroom...will have to finish dusting when I have another day off.

I sat out on the deck and finished a book by Debbie Macomber, "Christmas in Cedar Cove," what a nice book. Really enjoy reading her books.

Ended up at the dentist yesterday afternoon, have been having problems with the left side, upper and lower teeth. He checked the top, we are figuring those hurt because of the sinuses, the bottom ones he found a bad tooth. He tapped it and I about went through the roof!! Shocked He took an x-ray of it, told me I'll need a root canal. And that's expensive so I am weighing the option of having it pulled ($40) or having the root canal ($800). He also prescribed antibiotic too.

PattiT - ohhh, what wonderful news about your son!!!!! Very Happy Very Happy Very Happy Cool Cool

Vicki - yes, it's been humid here in PA too and we had rain/t-storms start around 7:30 last night and it's still raining. I thought the Almanac said it was to be a dry humid summer? Hmmm.

Fan - glad Myo is doing ok. I worried about Willow eating but she does well, give her a can of cat food every so often just to make sure she is eating well and getting the nutrition that she needs.

Better get around here, gather my things up.

Take care,

Hi Everybody!
Been warm and humid here. We finally got the rain storm they have been predicting for a week! Last night it poured like the Dickens!! I'm glad, now I won't have to water the plants for a day or so!

Fan - Poor Myo. Is she feeling better yet? I hope that's the end of her teeth problems. Congrats on the soccer game.

Pattit - That is wonderful news about Nick!! Thank God!

Carolyn - Sorry to hear you're running yourself ragged. How's your garden doing? You usually have a big one.

Ann - It's so nice that you and Jim get to go hiking together. You're lucky to have each other. Wink

Nothing much new around here. I'm just enjoying the fact that summer is finally here. Lazing around on the deck, reading and taking care of Sarah's and Jim's gardens. They both have nothing even close to a green thumb!

Hi to everybody out there!

Good day everybody, make it rock Very Happy

PattiT, congrats with the news from Nick. That's really awesome. Enjoy it for today, because tomorrow you'll be a woman torn between loyalty to the USA and Germany Laughing, all in one game.
Martha, sounds like you are on vacation Cool. Myo is feeling better and picking up on cat nibble again. Litter box production is improving too. I still have to give her a bit of painkiller medication. It's not the end yet, only when she's a toothless house tiger I can be sure she won't have to go for dental surgery anymore.
Ann-Marie, youch. That's a terrible dilemma and surely no treatment to look forward to either way.
Carolyn, so sorry to hear your dad is doing poorly. Hang in there, you are in my thoughts.
I had a relaxed day today, finally finished a huge list of files. So now I can discuss the next steps with the faculty project manager. The weather has been brilliant too, but we are in for some rain and t-storms in the weekend. And I have piled up so much laundry already Evil or Very Mad .
But that's for later, first my dishes and the soccer matches. Enjoy your day everybody.

Hello friends, hot and humid here today. I got all my outdoor stuff done by 10. I had heard on the weather that Martha and Ann had some bad weather! It is supposed to arrive here this evening. We will see, they are rarely right.
**Ann, I remember reading some Debbie Macomber books and enjoying them. I don't read books much anymore, I forget what I read to fast. Sure is bad news about your tooth, I hope the antibiotics do their job and then hopefully the pain will lessen.
**Martha, I am hoping we get some rain so we don't have to water the garden either. I am glad you are enjoying your deck and helping with the gardens. Yes, I am thrilled with the news from Nick!
**Fan, hubby is more into the soccer than I am. Sorry to hear your weekend is to be not so nice. Our Saturday weather is looking good so far, of course that can change, we are hoping to go swimming at Darryl and AnnMarie's after Madision's swim meet.

Hubby will be home ant minute now, so I will say goodbye for now.
