Good Morning, Friends!

The weekend is over, and I'll make another baking experiment. Blueberry and current bread... hopefully this will not sink.

What are your plans for today?

~~Vicki

Good day Vicki and everybody else, have a brilliant day Very Happy

Vicki, no plans anymore. My day is almost over and done. Smile How did the blueberry and current bread turn out this time?
Ann-Marie, are you still of today?
It has rained ferociously in the southern half of my country. In a city nearby Leiden they had 180mm of rain within three hours, which is twice the amount we usually get in July. Luckily I had my roof fixed some weeks ago. Rolling Eyes But the northern half of the country they hardly had anything at all. Tomorrow will be dry, sunny and warm again until the weekend.
Fetched some cat food at the vet's after work. It looks as if Myo has problems with her teeth again. If she doesn't pick up eating this week, I'll probably call the vet again next week.
Gotta finish the last chore fore today, the dishes.

Hi Everybody!

We are having pouring rain + thunder + lightning. Oh well, we need it, I guess. Rolling Eyes No sun until maybe this weekend!

Fan - Poor Myo is having tooth problems again? Maybe she should get dentures like I did. Does the vet know what is causing all her discomfort? Can she eat canned food that is softer? I'll bet you are glad you spent the money on a new roof now that it's raining so heavy.

Ann - Sorry you are having such a hard time. My sympathies are with you.

GrammaDot - What a big beautiful old house! Is that a metal roof? Glad you are getting some help in spiffing it up.

Dutchmom - I love your little graphics. I would have no ides how to do that.

I tried a new recipe off the internet yesterday: Zucchini and Corn Fritters. They were really good. Even Jim ate them!! I made homemade chicken nuggets to go with them (with honey/mustard and barbecue sauce on the side) And choc cupcakes with peanut butter frosting. Can you tell it was raining and I finally turned the oven on for a change? Shocked

This is a picture of Willie out in the garden for his "daily walk with Momma":
(it was a few days ago... when it was nice out)

Good Evening, Friends!

The internet was off more than on due the telephone company adding television to their old lines. AND, I picked up new glasses today... what a wonderful change!!! Very Happy

Fan - You certainly had a downpour. Shocked This weekend's heavy rain was west and east of us. Rather than making bread I made a Blueberry and Currant Buckle. I added half currants, making it rather tart... lessen the currants and increase the blueberries.

Martha - Your cooking and baking sound delicious!! Smile What a cute picture of Willie, too! Very Happy Thank you for liking the graphics. I took free online graphics classes a few years ago with Windows XP. The program lasts through Win 7.

~~Vicki
