Hello,

Woodland Sunflower

Fan
- I, too, looked up that chicken recipe, sounds wonderful!

Not much new. We are down to 17 critters. Crazy lately in there.

Cleaning and doing laundry early so I can get out and enjoy the day.

Later,
Ann

Hi Ann-Marie and everybody else, have fantastic day Very Happy

Yes, I'm in the weekend. Most of my chores are finished, my laundry is drying outside and there are only a few little things left. Today was hot, tonight is mucky and tomorrow will be both with t-storms at the end of the day. I intend to make it a lazy day.
I managed to cook some food today,

tortellini with mushrooms. Smile Tomorrow I'll try some cantaloupe gazpacho.
Ann-Marie, nice flower. I've never seen one like that around here. It almost sounds like the busy times are coming back for you. Are you off today?
PattiT, so grandma like granddaughter Laughing . I'm not surprised she picked the same hotel.
Oh and do try out the chicken Moambe, it's really good. Only one thing do keep the stock the chicken has cooked in. When the sauce turns out to thick you can simply add a bit of the stock to bring it to the right consistency without compromising on the taste

Fan - yes, was off today then work the next 3. Sad Kind of taking it easy but enjoying my day off with a walk in the woods. I ended up getting chased out...the flies and mosquitoes were terrible. Mad Did take a few more pictures of flowers for my photo journal. Have added a few, I'm at 60+ pages now. Very Happy Shocked

The local weather/TV station is showing at 81º. I'm loving it...so tired of the damp and cold. Wore a jacket to work a couple of times, had some chilly mornings.

We had 77F and I'm looking at 69F right now at 10pm. It probably may not get any cooler than that. Really the kind of temps mosquitos and flies love. No wonder you were chased out of the woods. But your journal is becoming pretty impressive.

I've enjoyed doing it, love the flowers.

Geesh, was outside washing the car windshield, noticed a bee flying into my hens & chicks. I pulled off the dead flower from them and you should have seen the hornets come out of there!! Shocked Shocked I don't like bees. Glad I was standing quite a ways back when they came out of their nest. Jim said he'd spray them when he got home tonight. I don't mind a honey bee or a bumblebee...but NOT a hornet -- they are mean & nasty. The part that worries me is they have their nest by our front door.
