Morning,

PattiT - glad you are home! I think a person feels better at home anyways.

Fan - the picnic was really nice. 7 people from work and their families showed up, lots of kids. Glad Sherri has lots of yard and acreage. Smile Very Happy Her husband took us on a hay ride through corn fields and woods...now I know where to go next year to go looking for wildflowers. Wink

Cleaned house yesterday then went outside and moved some irises to the back yard and then moved the Asiatic lilies to where the irises had been. Was a beautiful day, not too hot, was a perfect day. Came in and just puttered around the rest of the afternoon.

Going down to my sister's to pick her up then we are going to the lawyer to finish up some business. Will stop at the cemetery on the way home.

Hope everyone is doing well.
Ann

Hi Ann-Marie and everybody else, have a great day.

Wow, I had a real busy day today. Struggled with my office computer, it had been updated with the latest anti virus protection and other safety stuff and somehow all my preferences and templates had disappeared. So I had to create them all over again Evil or Very Mad .
But on a happier note it has been raining all day, only when I got to leave at 5pm it stopped Laughing . And tomorrow we'll be in for nice sunny weather. Time for my flip flops again.
Picked up some Chinese roast pork belly for dinner and paired it with a noodle cabbage salad. Just what I needed after a hard days work.

Ann-Marie, glad you had such a good time at the picnic. I was so jealous about the hay ride, we used to do that a lot when I was a kid.
PattiT, I kept my feet dry, no flooding here. Smile How are you doing today? Must be really nice having Nick and Tina over for Labor Day.
How's everybody else doing?

**Ann, sounds like a fun picnic. I am guessing you saw some different wild flowers. I am going to try to get hubby to move some plants around in the garden, help get rid of some bare spots. When I was watering my flower beds this evening I noticed a columbine plant, I thought they had all died so it was a nice surprise. They were some of the plants that my late father-in-law had given me.
**Fan, I hate when I lose all my preferences on my computer, but updating anti virus is something that is a necessary evil. Does pork belly tasty fatty? I love the looks of your noodle cabbage salad.

I had a visitor last evening, my sister-in-law brought me some watermelon and peaches. Then two more visitors today. I got some laundry done today and a little bit of cleaning here and there but I seem to get tired really easy. It was nice to get outside for a while today, that was nice. It was really warm today.

Stray cats dig around and make a nest out of my carpet in front of the door, unfortunately they seem to be "marking" it also. Well today one of the cats left "payment" a mouse beside my chaise. I was quite startled by it.
