Good day everybody, make it rock.

I'm still in the office, but about to leave. The weather is dull and grey. Early morning fogs are coming up as well, as if Autumn is already here.
I still have not been able to catch the mosquito in my bedroom. It's still feeding on me, I really hope I'll be able to get her soon. Twisted Evil She's supposed to become sluggish after having had that much blood out of me. Girls, just wish me luck.
PattiT, thanks for the compliments. It just doesn't happen too often that the water in the canals are like mirrors. Usually the wind spoils the reflections.
How were last night's ribs?

Fan, hope you had a fantastic day. Our ribs were delicious! We are addicted to the root beer barbecue sauce that we make. We broiled some on and then had extra to add on when we ate them. I am not sure if you remember Danielle but she told me about putting a wooden spoon across the pot when boiling potatoes to keep them from boiling over, it worked! I had made parsley buttered potatoes and brussel sprouts to go with the ribs. Tonight we are having leftovers, me leftover pasta marinara, hubby sweet Italian sausage, green beans and fried potatoes that he had made the other day.
Nick and Tina called yesterday to tell me they are making me chicken marsala for dinner on Monday. Tuesday they want to go apple picking at a nearby orchard. I am determined to be strong enough to go along!
Had a laundry disaster today, I had all whites and one pink shirt in the hamper and thought I am not doing one shirt all by itself, big mistake. We now have pink underwear (not too bad for me) and all pink socks, really bad for hubby. Lesson learned, again! I am hoping hubby will take me down to the Dollar General store to see if the have one of those color catcher things to remove the pink, sigh.
Any cocktails this evening?
