GOOD MORNING BAKESPACE FRIENDS......I thought I'd stop in and say hello before going outside. DD and DSIL and the boys are on thier way over to work in the yard for me. I won't be helping too much, since I can't but will be watching the boys play! We need to go to Lowe's first to get a few things...I might even pick up my flowers today! I'm so excited to get the yard looking pretty! What's on you girls schedule today! Kenna it was good to hear from you. I hope everyone has a good day today...I'll get back on this afternoon and see how everyone's doing! Gotta run now...Take care....Debbie

Good morning Debbie and all who follow. Not much going on today, just working and chatting. Nothing to look forward to today, I'm stuck in the office all day, not going to lunch and seminar like yesterday. We've been sitting here talking about food, and planning a wedding shower for one of our co-workers. Yes, we really do work too.

Debbie - I hope your yard work gets completed today...have fun with the boys.

Have a terrific afternoon!

Sheryle

P.S. Babette - please don't delete my post today. Laughing

HAHAHH... Hi Cookie.. I promise, today is a much better day already considering we have a terrible fire a couple of miles away from my home. It's pretty insane. I was driving on the freeway last night and I could see the flames completely engulfing the side of the hill. It was pretty scary.

Good morning Debbie,Sheryle,Babette and all who come later.
Well I'm making it on before the morning is over.I've been busy this morning doing some work at church and at home.Right now I'm cooking dinner.Today we're having cubed steak and potato salad, biscuits and candied yams.I made a gallon of sweet tea earlier.I'm about ready for a break.
I talked to Becca yesterday evening and she had been to the Dr. about her back. She called me this morning and said she was feeling better and so was Hannah.

Debbie,
Sounds like you are going to have a fun day not to mention a busy one.Have fun with your grandchildren.
I've still got some plants that I haven't gotten planted yet but I doubt I will get to plant them today, maybe tomorrow.

Sheryle,
It sounds like it is fun working where you do.Sometimes I wish that I was out working so I would have someone to chat with. There's no one here but DH and me,and he's outside putting up a new mail box post.
The only people I have to chat with are the ladies at school waiting like me to pick up their children and grandchildren.I see my Dad twice a day and we talk alot and I do generally talk with Becca at least once a day.So it looks like I talk alot. Maybe I don't need that job after all. Laughing

Babette,
Hope your home is safe from the fire.I saw something on the news this morning about the fires out there.Looked scary.I hope they've got them put out.

Better get back to my cooking.

Wishing everyone a great day.

Hugs to all,
Pat

Hello to Debbie, Sheryle, Babette, Pat and all my other BakeSpace friends. *Debbie, it feels so good when you get all your flowers planted doesn't it?
*Sheryle, good to see that Babette allowed you to post today, ha ha. Sounds like you work at a place like my SIL her fridge was full the other day with wraps, salads etc. to take to work for a shower. Seems like she is baking or cooking something every week for work. They are lucky she is a great cook! Hope you work day is not too boring.
*Babette, I saw that on the news, and you were the first thing I thought of, I hope it doesn't get any closer to you, it looks so scary!
*Pat, I miss the friendships you form at work, but I find so much to keep me busy at home and I have my on-line friends to "talk" to everyday. Glad to hear that Becca and Hannah are feeling better, thank you for letting us know. Your meal sounds delicious! I made a gallon of diet fresh squeezed lemonade this morning. I guess it is the time of year to keep those nice refreshing drinks on the ready.
I made a black bean salad this morning, and sausage fried rice for lunch. The salad needs to marinade for tomorrow. Not doing much today, just hanging out with hubby.

Hello Everyone,

It's been really busy for us here lately. We are getting a new drain field put in and they keep running into problems. Today it was rain, so no work is being done on it today. Our back yard is all dug up, trenched and dirt is everywhere. It's a real mess(boys love it). I'm hoping it's done by Friday.

Hope everyone gets to feeling better.

Babette-hoping your home is safe from the wildfire.

Have a great day!!!

Jennifer
