Good morning and happy, happy Friday! I don't have a lot planned for today other than going to work. A group of us are going to lunch together at a new restaurant that opened a few months ago. It's called Hungry Howies, a pizza place, so we thought we would give it a try. It's my understanding that they offer different crust flavors...guess I'll find out later. Our jobs are so boring that we all look forward to lunch and any parties that we can plan. Laughing

I went to the oral surgeon yesterday and was told I need to have three teeth out...yuck! Crying or Very sad So I've got that scheduled in two weeks. They wanted me to have it done next Wednesday, but I told them I couldn't make it. I didn't tell them why, but later told my sister that I had a hair appointment next Wednesday and couldn't cancel it...only a woman would understand that. Very Happy I would cancel a doctors appointment before a hair appointment... especially since the woman I go to is always booked up months in advance.

After my dentist appointment my sister and I went to Olive Garden for dinner. She doesn't get to go there very often because her husband doesn't care for Italian food (I just can't imagine not liking it). About the only time she goes is if she is with me or our other sister. So I told her, since her birthday is coming up, I would treat her to dinner at OG. We really enjoyed it! Then we went to Elder Beerman and I bought two pair of sandals.

I had better get going, I need to finish getting ready for work and get some breakfast. Have a great day!

Good Morning
Bit tired this morning up late last night, having Birthday cake for my DD.
We are going out to dinner tonight for her. Quiet weekend.
Debbie asked if I am still shopping for my cruise, only if I find something exceptional. Also my position on the board of GS is probably going to be an easy job, much easier than what I did before. I have been trying to write my farewell speech all week. I think I have it done. It's been 14 years, so I had a lot to say.
Well it just started to rain here, we have an outdoor day event with Girl Scouts this afternoon, I hope the weather clears up.
Not much else, everyone have a great day

Hello Linda, Sheryle and all my other BakeSpace friends. I was on the run all day today and am finally home. Now I have a little time to kill before my son gets here, he is coming here after work, cleaning up (himself, not the house, ha ha) and then he is taking me out to my favorite steak house for Mother's Day. My hubby is taking me to the shore for a couple of days so I won't be home for Mother's day. My other son is taking me out for breakfast for Mother's day tomorrow, silly boy has still not given me a time to be ready. He and his wife are very last minute planners. They have promised to let me know before I go to bed tonight! It is a hot but beautiful day here. I got lots done in the garden yesterday and all the hard work is done now. I even got a bargain on a beautiful perennial and enlarged my one flower bed so it would fit nice. Went to the neuro Dr. this morning and he said he is not the right kind of Dr. for me to be seeing, dang my family Dr. for wasting his time and my money. So now I have an appt. set up with an orthopedic Dr. for the end of the month. He said the family Dr. thought I needed surgery on my neck and he said there is no way it was needed, thank heavens. We are getting together at the shore with friends we have had for 25 years this month, we bought an anniversary card to give them, ha ha. Boy it sure was hard to find an appropriate one. We all have such great fun when we get together so I am really looking forward to the days at the beach with them. We are leaving on Sun. and probably wont be back until Wed. Everyone stay out of trouble while I am gone, ha ha.
*Linda good luck with giving your speech, I would probably be blubbering. I cry at everything. I loved your graphics today.
*Sheryle, once again I get the feeling that you are looking forward to the weekend. So sorry to hear about having to have teeth removed, ouch. I can not imagine not liking Italian food either, although my favorite thing at Olive Garden is the salad and tiramisu.
Gotta finish up a few things before hubby and son get here, everyone have a great weekend. Happy Mother's Day.
