GOOD MORNING TO ALL MY WONDERFUL FRIENDS.....It's officailly Saturday morning since it's 12:11 a.m.! I couldn't get on yesterday (Friday) because my server was down again and I really missed chatting with everyone! With not be able to get on-line and DD and the boys Not coming over today...I got A LOT of cleaning done I've been wanting to do !! I started cleaning at 10 this morning and was still going at it when Dh came home from work at 5:30. I do however have to take periodic breaks because of my foot, but I would only sit for 10 to 15 mins. otherwise I would seize up and not be able to move. I got everything done, except changing over the closet from winter to summer clothes! I'll do that tomorrow! DD and I want to get our nails done tomorrow, but it depends on how Cody's feeling. He ran a temp of 104 most of today and wouldn't eat or drink anything and threw up his meds. when DD gave them to him. I told her if he continued with the high fever and not eating or drinking and no meds staying down...she might want to take him to the ER! Her family doctor gave her meds. for him for Strep Throat, but he can't keep it down! Poor little guy, I sure hope he starts feeling better soon! I made Beef-A-Roni for dinner tonite...it was pretty good, I was almost too tired and in too much pain to eat. DH Loves the stuff and had 3 or 4 helpings! Mother's Day is almost here and it wil be a sad one for me...this close to losing Mom! But I will be strong, because of DH Mom and for Tiffany too!

***SHERYLE, Hair or Dentist...now let's see which one would I rather go to? I think I'd keep the hair appt. too!! Glad you and your sister had a nice dinner at O.G. and got to go shoping too...how wonderful! I had to chuckle at your comment about how boring your job was, because all you guys think about is lunch and planning parties! That sounded like me and the girls I worked with...we always started discussing lunch at 10 o'clock! Hope you have a good restful week-end...I'll be thinking about you on Sunday!

***LINDA, I love your little chipmunk graphic! Before we moved where we are now...we used to lived outside the city limits and because of that we use to have several little chipmunks playing in our yard...along with squirrels and any kind of bird you could think of. We fed them all and some became quite tame! I miss all the wild life..we don't get near the birds or squirrels here. Hope the rain cleared up for you G.S. event. How's the speech coming along? Hope you have a good week-end too!

***PATTI, Boy sounds like your week-end and next week is all planned out for you! Hope your Steak Dinner with your son was nice and breakfast with your other son this morning and then DH wisking you away to the shore next week and being with ole friends..it all sounds wonderful! We'll miss you next week, but we know you'll be having a good time. I hope the weather is nice for you all too. No surgery on your neck sounds good, but I wonder what the orthopedic doctor will find out? I agree with you...my family doctor is always saying you need this specialists or this specialists. I think they all get a kick back for suggesting you go to them. Like with this RLS....I have all the symptons of it and I'm going to tell my family doctor to start me on the Requip and see if it works and if it does, then I know I was right in MY diagnosis....I'll won't be going to NO Specialist!! Hope you have a good week-end with your family!

Well, it's 12:45 a.m. and I'm starting to get a little bit sleepy, so I think I'll go to bed. Hello to all that stop in today and enjoy your week-end! Hugs and smiles coming to ya.....Debbie

Good morning Debbie and all who follow. I don't know what I'm going to do today, am thinking about going to Hobby Lobby and WalMart. I need to buy flowers for my parents graves, my grandmother, sister and great aunt and uncles graves for Memorial Day. I'm thinking with my sister having surgery on the 21st and me having my oral surgeon appointment on the 24th, we won't be able to decorate graves that weekend. So I may need to go to the cemetary next weekend instead. I'll decide after I get my shower and breakfast.

Debbie - wow girl...you really got a lot done! I need to get busy and do some heavy duty cleaning myself. I was wondering what had happened since you usually post everyday. I'm glad it was just server trouble and nothing serious. As we get closer to Mother's Day, I've been thinking of you and knowing how difficult this first Mother's Day without your dear mother will be. I was reading Mary's Tea Room on the main TOH board and came across a beautiful post and just have to share for you, me and others who have lost their mothers.

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY TO ALL TEA ROOM MOMS
MOMS

Your mother is always with you.
She's the whisper of the leaves as you walk down the street. She's the smell of certain foods you remember, flowers you pick and perfume that she wore. She's the cool hand on your brow when you're not feeling well, she's your breath in the air on a cold winter's day. She is the sound of the rain that lulls you to sleep, the colors of a rainbow, she is Christmas morning.
Your mother lives inside your laughter. And she's crystallized in every tear drop. A mother shows every emotion.....happiness,sadness, fear, jealousy, love, hate, anger, helplessness, excitement, joy, sorrow...and all the while, hoping and praying that you will only know the good feelings in life. She's the place you came from, your first home, and she's the map you follow with every step you take. She's your first love, your first friend, even your first enemy, but nothing on earth can separate you. Not time, not space...not even death!

And as Helen Keller said -
The best and most beautiful things cannot be seen or touched - they must be felt with the heart.

Patti - we'll miss seeing your posts. I hope you have a wonderful time!

I'm starting to get a little hungry so had better head out to the kitchen. Have a wonderful Saturday.

Sheryle

Good morning, girls! I haven't been here much this week, but I pretty much got all my household stuff done this week. But, guess what? Come Monday, it will be time to start it all over again! UGH!

Debbie, isn't it amazing how much more gets accomplished when you stay off the computer? That's why I wasn't here much this week. So sorry about Cody being so sick. Bless his little heart! Maybe Tiffany could ask the doctor for some phenergan (sp?) suppositories for him. That usually stops the vomiting. I hope he gets well soon.

Sheryle, sorry to hear about you having to have 3 teeth pulled. That sure doesn't sound like fun. Will you have to have a bridge or something to replace the teeth? Dental work is very expensive, isn't it? I know I have had several crowns, and it cost a fortune.

What does everyone have planned for this weekend? I might make some of the "Funfetti" cake mix cookies today. My kids really like those. Also, tonight I am going to a Pampered Chef party. Tomorrow is church, and that pretty much takes care of my weekend, I guess.

Hello to everyone who stops by later. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Hugs, Kenna Lou

Good morning Debbie,Sheryle,Kenna Lou and all who come later.
Dh and I had alot of errands to do yesterday and when we got home I put my daily comments on my space for all of you.I then went on bakespace but before I could write anything a friend dropped by and by the time she left I had to leave for school. After that I had a very busy evening and still couldn't get on.When I can't post I really miss talking to all of you.
Today Kaitlyn and I are finishing planting our flowers and a few tomato and green pepper plants I got yesterday.Outside of that and cooking dinner I won't be doing much else.

Debbie,I know how difficult tomorrow will be for you.I just want you to know you'll be in my thoughts and prayers because my first Mother's Day after my Mom passed was was hard. This will my second one and I think it will be just about as hard.Thank God we have our daughters and grandchildren. They really help especially at times like this.
I hope your grandson is feeling better,it's tough seeing little children sick.My heart goes out to them.

Sheryle,I hope you're having a great day today.I love going shopping for flowers.Hobby Lobby really does have some beautiful ones.Have you ever bought any from Garden Ridge? They have some beautiful ones too.My DH says that I stay in there a long long time.He finds himself a bench to sit on and wait for me.There are just so many to chose from it's hard to make up my mind which ones I want.
Sorry to hear about having to have some teeth pulled,if you're like me I hate going to the dentist.I would almost rather have to go to the Doctor.

Kenna Lou,What do you do at a Pampered Chef party.I've never been to one?Have fun!

Better go for now the girls are wanting to go outside and play.

Everyone have a wonderful day and weekend.

Hugs to all,
Pat

Good morning (just barely) to Debbie, Sheryle, Kenna Lou, Pat and all my other BakeSpace friends. Just got back from breakfast with my son and DIL, they surprised me with a gift certificate for a nursery and we went and got me two more hanging baskets, now I can't think of anything else I need for my gardens or porch. It was such a nice morning.
*Debbie, I am sure tomorrow will be a difficult day for you, but you have some wonderful memories of your Mom. I have no idea why but this year has been hard for me, it is sad to see everyone shopping for cards, gifts etc every where you go for their mothers. I have lost my mother (many years ago) my MIL and my step-mother. I wish I had some good memories of my mother, we did not get along very well, and I tried so so hard. That is so sad about Cody being so sick and not being able to keep his medicine down.
*Sheryle, my SIL goes and gets the flowers for on the graves and we all pitch in and pay then. I really appreciate her doing that. I was supposed to go along tomorrow to put flowers on my MIL's grave for Mother's Day, but I think I won't be able to make it since we are leaving for the beach tomorrow. I was very close to my MIL and miss her so much. Thanks for sharing the poem with us.
*Kenna Lou, enjoy the Pampered Chef party, they can be fun. My house is a mess, as soon as we get back from our little trip I must concentrate on the inside, I have the outside looking great, but at the cost of not getting anything done inside for awhile. Those funfetti cookies sound good.
*Pat, what kinds of flowers did you get? Have fun with the girls today.
Hope everyone has a great weekend.
