Good morning ladies...I hope everyone awakes to a lovely morning. We've had some rain and it's a little chilly, but not too bad. Is it Friday yet?, only Thursday. I'm getting a bit of a late start this morning I awoke about 20 minutes early and decided, since I had my hair done last night and didn't need to wash my hair this morning, I would sleep in for 1/2 hour. So am now waiting for my curling iron to heat up then after I finish getting dressed will grab some yogurt and fruit and off to work I go.

I'm sure the curling iron is hot by now so had better do something with this hair I hope you all have a great day!

Good Morning, Sheryle and all to follow!
Yesterday, we had a beautful day topped off with supper at my mother-in-law's home. My two nieces finished college exams and are heading home. We'll welcome them back in August.

Today, I plan on baking cookies and catching up with miscellaneous cleaning chores.

Sheryle - How do you like this cooler weather? I appreciate it even more now that the humidity is down.

Wishing everyone a lovely day,

Good morning Sheryle,Vicki and everyone who follows.
We only got a quick shower of rain yesterday evening.Cooler today.Yesterday the temperature was 86,today about 72.Feels good to me.I don't care for hot weather.
Not going to do much today.Yesterday I cooked a big pot of soup, gave dad some and we still have some of it left.So I'm thinking of making some subs and have the leftover soup.

Sheryle,I haven't finished planting all of my flowers yet .There is one tray left to plant.Kaitlyn wants us to go and buy some more. Not to sure I want to do that, but I am still looking for a chocolate pepper plant.

Cookies sound good. What kind are you making?

Wishing all of you a super great day. Very Happy

Good Morning, Sheryle, Vicki and Pat! It is nice and cool outside today. I'm sure it won't last, though Sad

I don't have much planned today. Just finishing up some laundry, then later I'm going to eat lunch at school with my youngest daughter. She has 4 1/2 days of school left after today. She is very ready to be out. Me, too! I will get to sleep later when school is out.

I did get the bulletin finished. The lady that has been doing it for the past couple of years is unable to do it anymore. So, that falls on me and DH to do it. I don't mind it really. I just had to get my format set up for it, and that took some time to do. It will be easy from now on. Of course, DH is not very computer literate, so he doesn't know how to us the program I'm using. LOL!

I think tonight for supper we are just having grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup.

Tomorrow night, we have a wedding rehearsal and dinner to go to and then the wedding is on Saturday. I guess our weekend is all planned out for us.

I hope everyone has a great day. Hello to everyone who comes by later.

Hugs, Kenna Lou

GOOD MORNING Sheryle, Vicki, Pat, Kenna Lou and Everyone that stops in today......Today is a good bit cooler than the first of the week, but it's OK. Had quite a bit of rain yesterday and the flowers and gardens needed it. Last nite after dinner, the boys wanted to go out and play and we said only on the porch, because the grass was wet from the rain...we only stayed out 15 mins at the most because it was so chilly. Took Cody back to the doctor yesterday, he did another culture on the new blisters on his tongue and another one on his throat and said it would 24 to 48 hours before he knew anything, but thought he might need his tonsiles out because he had enlarged adnoids! So that will be sometime soon, I'm sure! DD and I went over and cleaned my Dads house yesterday. He had called and ask if DD would run the vacumn and dust for him because he hasn't had time. I told her I would help her...figuring it wouldn't take the both of us very long...we were ther for almost 3 hrs. I spent most of my time in the kitchen...I don't think anything on the counter top had been moved and wiped down since way before Mom got sick. It looked so nice and clean and fresh when I got done...I did however forget to do the fridg., so I'll do it later! DD vacumned and dusted the whole house and wiped down the bathroom and we went and bought him a fresh bouquet of flowrers for the dining room table. He had this fish bowl and had told me he was going to get a fish toput in we went to the aquarium and bought him a pretty blue Beta Fish and some gravel and a little green plant. Looks very pretty. We re-arranged some thingsand put some things away that he had setting out. Most men don't know too much about decorating. We told him if he didn't like it ,he could change it back! All in all it's clean and fresh and looks nice. He had went fishing/camping with his brother-in-law this week and is supposed to be back today. DD and her family came back to my house and she insisted on fixing dinner...she fixed Philly Cheese Steaks Sandwiches, Fries, Creamed Macaroni and Cottage was very good. Little Blake had 3 helpings of Creamed Macaroni..he loves any kind of pasta! Today I'm going to watch the boys for DD while her and one of her girlfriends have lunch, Then we have a few errands to run, hopefully will only take an hour. DH is supposed to be back from Maryland sometime today and this evening we are all going out for no cooking for me.

**SHERYLE, Yesterday sounded a little stressful for you ..with the close call on your time schedule, having to spend extra money on your car...sorry about that, seems like there's always something to take our money! We didn't make it to Shoney's for Breakfast, because DD got a late start! There's always other mornings! Did you get your flowers from Hobby Lobby? What kind did you get? Thank you for the well wishes on my upcoming granddaughter...we are all so excited!

***VICKI, Cookies do sound good today! What kind are you going to make?I've been going to make cookies, but seems here lately I haven't had the time. I bet your 2 nieces are ready for thier summer break from college. What year are they in?

***PAT, You're doing better than me with getting your flowers planted. DD was going to take me to buy mine the other day and I told her my foot hurt too bad to walk through the nursery.Hopefully here soon...Cody is ready to help! At least now you can set backand watch them bloom into something beautiful! Your dinner tonite sounds good and comforting...Subs and Homemade soup! Yum-O!!

***KENNA LOU, Glad you got the formatset-up for the church bullentin and that task is marked off your to do list! Who use to do it before you? I know how proud you must be of your DD in the Pop Show...maybe someday shell beon Am. Idol!! Try to stay cool in that Texas Heat!

***LINDA, Your Victorian Tea Party sounds so nice! Sounds like you were very pretty all dressed up...glad you had a good time! As busy as your difinitely need to have a "Game Plan" don't you?

***PATTI, Welcome back from vacation!! Sounds like you all kept busy, but had fun doing it! I got a little chuckle when you mentioned your son calling you when you were "On your way Home" and asking if he could bnring a friend home for dinner!! Did you find time to watch Am. Idol? What did you think about Melinda getting voted off? It was a complkete shock to me! I've always thought it would be Jordan and Melinda...last two standing! The last 4 or so will all get record contracts though! Thanks for the well wishes on the up coming granddaughter! Like I said we are all so excited! Sept. 30 th is her date of arrival!

Well I guess I rty to be quite and get off here for a while. I'll check in later today and see how everyone's day went. Take care and here's a hug((( YOU ))) Debbie

Good morning Sheryle, Vicki, Pat, Kenna Lou and Debbie. I posted yesterday but I guess everyone was gone for the day when I finally got a chance to post. It is to be cooler here today also. I have got to get this house spic and span, tomorrow Madison will be coming to visit while her mother gets her hair done. She is getting a perm and with her long hair it takes hours and hours. This time of year it seems like I can never get caught up with everything. I still have some bulbs I want to transplant in the flower beds, more laundry to do, and of course the house to clean, but of course I had to check in here to see what everyone is doing today. I am going to make tacos for dinner, it will be quick since I will be busy most of the day. I told you about getting the cantaloupes in New Jersey, at least I think I did, they called them Candylopes, oh my gosh, they were the best cantaloupes we ever had. Too bad we would have to drive over 100 miles to get more. I am using the last of my tomatoes from Jersey for my tacos tonight, they were really good also. I will try and check back tonight to see how everyone's day went. It is good to be back.
