Hey there! I'm looking for a recipe that I used to have out of a magazine. I can't remember which magazine, but it was for chicken stuffed peppers. It had chicken & rice in a white sauce and you used yellow, red or orange peppers. Anyone heard of or have a recipe for these??
thanks!!!

Ari,
Do you remember the “flavor” of the recipe? I guess I mean do you remember it as an ethnic recipe or basic American? Do you remember an of the predominant flavorings? |

You know, I think it maybe had a basic bechemel (sp?) sauce and some herbs. I know it wasn't a tomato base at all. The filling was really creamy. I should really just try to throw something together on my own and see what happens. Have you ever had anything like this? |

I looked around. There are SO many recipes for this with an asian flavor but that's clearly not like the one you remember. I founc this one on a website called http://www.3fatchicks.com
It looks really tasty and you can probably use it as a starting point and adjust, subtract, add what you like. Let us know! |
Hey Eric,
Thanks for trying to help me out with this. The link above takes me to the 3FC main page. What is the recipe called that you found?
Thanks!!

Hey Eric. I haven't made it yet. I'm leaving for vacation Thurs morning so I'm not sure if I'll get a chance to make it before I leave. Trying to use up everything in the fridge before I go! I will keep you posted on how it turns out when I do though.
Warm regards,
Ari |
