A picture of my new laminate floor, anyone ever seen this, it is fantastic for the kitchen, a totally different look than the wood look ones. |

Good Morning Patti....I was going to ask you the other day about your kitchen...It's very nice and I love those floors. I'm thinking about putting something like thay in my family-room and just an area rug where the furniture is. Let me know how you like them. Thanks for posting the pictures. Take care........ pattit, your kitchen is so CUTE! My kitchen is red also, but I wanted THAT color of red (mine is more of a brick/wine red)
Maybe I can talk hubby into re-painting it for me LOL (not really, I do all that stuff myself, but I can dreeeeaaaaaam can't I?)

I had a hard time finding exactly the color I wanted and an even harder time convincing everyone it would look good, finally I thought the heck with them, it is what I want and at this age, who cares what everyone else thinks, ha ha. My painter saw $$$$$ and loved it also, it took 4 coats to get it to look the way I wanted it.
Debbie, you had asked if I liked the laminate, it is guaranteed for 30 years, and it is so so easy to keep clean. One of the reasons I liked this one is that it is textured where the wood ones are usually smooth and the variations in color I thought would make it less likely to see every little spot on the floor. I use a swiffer dry thing on it and then a swiffer wet mop every week and believe it or not I never see anything on the wet one when I am done. The installer said it is so tough that no dirt can get ground into it, it just remains on the surface where it is easy to get off. No I do not get a commission or anything, ha ha. I just think it is awesome. |
