Actually this is an old photo...those rosemary plants are now twice that size...along with the bay trees I normally have in the kitchen...everything is out on the patio. I have to take some new pictures!
Babette...did you check out the china pattern - ha, ha! _________________

I did check out the pattern... I love the black and the pig with the chalk board.. I always thought it would be cool to have a board with "today's specials" on it. If I ever have kids I'll do that.. it could be fun! |

I actually have a life-size chalk board next to the refrigerator...just don't have a picture of it...it's really handy....when I have a party, I write out the entire menu on it...for everyday use, it's my grocery list.
Did you like the way I photoshoped "Bakespace" on the pig chalkboard? _________________

If I would have had name cards at the place settings in the dinning room in these old photographs I would have used photoshop to list everyone's name, i.e. Babette, Eric, Herr Hexenmeister, Lissah, Pattit, Dafna, etc., etc. It would have been soooo funny! Everyone will just have to pretend we're eating together! _________________

What a wonderful kitchen! I love cooking with rosemary, mine is not doing very well outside this year, do you have to have sunlight for it to grow inside? If it will stay alive on the counter I may bring mine in at the end of our growing season. Your landscaping is incredible also. Thank you for sharing your space with us, I noticed the BakeSpace on the chalk board. Thank you for wanting to include me in your cyber dinner.

Thanks, Patti! Rosemary needs full sunlight - it is an herb - so do you have yours in the sun? Also, keep pruning it...new growth only and it will branch out from each cut...never cut the woody stems, though. My plants - I have two - are about twice the size you see in the photo. They even bloom purple flowers! I take mine in every fall...just don't water them too often when they are inside - it's their dormant period. Mine sit on the counter and I have overhead haligon lights. If you have a window to put them in during the winter that would be great. Do you fertilize your plants with Miracle Grow? If not, you should try it. _________________
