I am looking for a recipe that may have come from a Taste of Home or Quick Cooking Magazine but I will take anything that is similar.
The recipe included sliced Taquitos, corn, black beans, and I think also had lettuce. There are other ingredients in it but I can't remember for sure (cheese is likely). The dressing was from scratch but it was very much like a Catalina style salad dressing.
Any recipe that is similar would be appreciated. I miss it sooo much. Thanks everyone.

I am sorry you haven't gotten a response to this yet.
What about this?
Taquito Taco Salad
1 box of Taquitos (chicken or beef)
1 can whole kernel corn (drained)
1 can ranch style beans (drained)
1 can black olives (sliced)
1 slightly firm avacado (diced)
1 small tomato (diced)
1 small onion (chopped)
1 pkg. shredded lettuce
1 cup crushed corn chips
1 small bottle catalina dressing
Bake taquitos according to directions on box. Cool, and slice in circles. In a very large bowl, mix taquitos with all ingredients except for catalina, and toss. Refrigerate 30 min., then stir in catalina and mix well. Serve immediately.
Hope it is what you are looking for!

Could this be it Pam! If not let me know and I will go back and look again.
Welcome to BakeSpace Pam. I came over from TOH.

Patti--
Thank you so much for taking the time to post a recipe for me. This is close to what I am thinking of although I know there aren't any avacados, or the ranch style beans (not sure what those are exactly ). And I am pretty sure the dressing was a recipe and not just a bottle of something. I am going to try this out however and see if I can duplicate the recipe I am thinking of with yours that you have supplied. Thank you so much for your time in looking for this for me. Have a great day and thanks again!
