Hi Everyone
Well I am off and running again, school, then errands, making pork chops for dinner, probably on the BBQ.Busy weekend, DH is working tomorrow, my niece is coming over to design a new bathroom for us. Then on Sunday I running a Dinner Dance for our Lodge at a catering hall. Formal event, so I have been rummaging through the closet for something to wear. I don't have time to buy anything. Sunday is also my DH birthday and our 35th wedding anniversary. We are celebrating at the catering hall. The girls will show up mid stream and give there father a cake and DJ will get everyone to sing Happy Birthday. Should be fun.
I feel this month coming is even busier than the last. I hardly get time to come on the computer, If I do it is only to view, don't have time to reply.
Sorry if I missed anything important and you all are always on my minds.
Well DH just left for work and said there is no more salad in the bowl could I make more before I leave in a half hour. Sure, after I throw on more laundry. My day starts at 5:30 am and I don't sit or take a break till after midnight. Can we say burning the candle at both ends.
Well everyone have a great day
Talk soon

Hi All,

Still not feeling too good. Still have the headache...and my body is so sore/achy. Now I have the stupid cough - which is probably giving me the headache. Will take some Dayquil after I eat.

Have a feeling I won't be doing much this weekend...with whatever I have, cold/flu, I won't be going to the 4-wheeler picnic at my sister's. Sad Sad
DO NOT want to pass this's awful!

Better get around here and finish my tea & toast and take a pill.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning all my BakeSpace friends. It is really foggy here this morning. Came in handy, I got to put the mail in and get my paper in my p.j.'s since no one could see me anyway! I am going to dust this house from top to bottom today. Hubby is going to the football game this evening and is trying to convince my sons to go, and hopefully Madison also. Anyone have any tips for me, we have DampRid in our closets because of moisture problems, well the liquid out of it spilled and got all over the closet floor, it just keeps getting damper and damper and moving until the wet spot is now 3 feet out of the closet. Anybody have any ideas how to dry it up??? Because of the DampRid I think it keeps absorbing MORE moisture out of the air!! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

**Good Morning Babette, our big plans for the weekend is we are leaving for vacation bright and early on Sunday morning. Woo Hoo.
**Tango, now don't you go and get your self in too much trouble while hubby is away, ha ha. Hopefully a great opportunity for lots of fun will come up.
**Linda, with all you have going on I think I would have asked hubby if his arms were broke when he asked about the salad! Ohhhhh a new bathroom, that will be nice. Hopefully there is lots of fun mixed in with all this work for you.
**Ann Marie, that is a real shame, that you won't be able to go 4-wheeling but you are right, it is probably best to not let anyone else catch what you have. Take good care of yourself.
**Grammadotcom, sounds like you have a busy few days ahead of you also! Have fun with your Dd.

Good morning bakespace buddies and all who follow,

Last nite I wanted bbq sooooo bad after getting that newsletter yesterday, but the girls weren't going to be home and Jim was too tired to grill out so we just ordered Texas Roadhouse carry out and OMG it was just as good as eating there! I had their bbq ribs for the first time and they were fall off the bone good!!! I have some left over, will be eating THAT for lunch today! Then we watched Survivor....I'm so glad they're somewhere interesting, I was getting tired of the same ol' "tropical beach" thing. I had to tivo Chef Ramsey, but I'll be watching that today.

One of my long time girlfriends is due to be in town today, visiting from TN. She's going to visit her DD & SIL and grandbaby but I sure hope she has time to stop by, so I am reserving my whole "weekend" in case she does. Jim's working today and tomorrow at the firehouse, but he'll be here Sunday, I think I might make some veg stock so I can brine a turkey breast then smoke it. (still haven't gotten around to that test project yet)

Babette- nice to see you opening the posts this morning! (seeing how it was 3am, I think that's cheating though! HA!)

Tango- I want to see that movie too, it looks hilarious! Let us know how it is if you see it, k?

Linda- hope you have a wonderful time at the dance/bday celebration! Sounds like fun, your hubby will be so suprised!

Ann Marie- gosh, hope you get to feeling better, sorry you'll miss the 4 wheeling adventure, maybe next time???

Patti- I bet you're excited about opening the playhouse, that just is the neatest idea! I wish someone had thought of that when my girls were ME! HA!

Well, better get some work done, I'll be back later to check in and see how everyone is doing! TTYL

Just stopping in real quick to tell you about my morning...

I have the day off work. I got up when my fiance did so I could let the dog out. Instead of putting him back, I thought I would be nice and lay on the floor and play with him. Well I must have fell asleep. My phone went off, I got up to get it. Laid my head back down for a second. The little sh!t head jumps up on my pillow and peed on my head. What a way to start the day!!

I'm going out now for a girls mani/pedi day!

Hi Everyone - anyone have the secret for stopping a bleeding nose? I get one about once a week. Since I had a stroke in 2000 and a clot in the groin last June I take aspirin daily as a blood thinner. Ergo the nose problem. I got a bleeding nose at 4 this morning and it took forever with pressure applied to stop the bleeding and then my nostril was plugged so breathing wasn't the greatest for falling back to sleep. Other than tilting your head back and pressure is there some other way to stop the bleeding?

I am glad my daughter is taking a trip to New Zealand without me in November. She and I generally travel together. She found out last night that the 5 day trek, which is the chief reason she is going, was cancelled. Not enough interest apparently and she has already sent her final payment for it. Now she has to change flights or cancel them from place to place because the trek was cancelled. If there are penalties for this it is at her expense. Now she is trying to find alternate things to do or places to go to have something to do for that travel time and the trek time. We had once planned a Trafalgar tour for Spain/Portugal/Morocco and it was cancelled on the last day they could cancel. So I know how mad and frustrated she is.

As for my day I may just have a nap later to try to get less tired after last night. So supper tonight is either waffles or pancakes or something bought. Hmmmmm? What to do?

Good Morning Bakespace friends!!

Sounds like everyone is up and busy this morning. I guess we all have lots going on.

The soccer game last night was awesome!!! When I got there the other team was up by 1. With 3 minutes left in the game my nephew scored a goal, tying it up. Then with 6 seconds left in the game they had the ball and manuevered it around the field and got it to an open player and he kicked the ball into the net with no time left. It was incredible!!! I was so glad I was there, very, very exciting.

Had a good time with the girls last night, we've decided to try and do this every month. Our next planned night is the 18th of October. Can't wait!!

Babette--You haven't told us what your plans are???

Tango--Hope you find something to do tonight!! You could come to MI and go to the Homecoming football game with me and my boys. My husband is going to stay home and get some things ready for his bear hunting trip coming up.

Linda--Sounds like you operate the same as I do....NON STOP!! Sometimes I think "when do I get a break". But know if I don't do it I wouldn't be happy if someone else did.

Ann Marie--Sure hope you get to feeling better. Sorry you will be unable to go to the 4 wheeler picnic.

grammadotcom--I love Pampered Chef!! I have a friend who's a sales rep. for them.

Pattit--I try and do the same thing...sneak out in my PJ's to get the paper on a Sunday morning hoping no one sees me. Sorry I have no advice on the Damprid spill.

ddpie--Those ribs from Texas Roadhouse sound yummy!! They just opened one of those restaurants in Grand Rapids beginning of the summer. Haven't been there yet, sounds like we might have to check it out. Hope your friend has time to visit with you.

Jen--Sounds like you had a heck of a morning with Stewie peeing on you. Yuck!! Hope the manicure/pedicure makes up for Stewie's little accident.

Hi to all of those that stop in later. Wish my nephew luck on his Homecoming court possiblities of becoming King. He says it won't happen....we'll see!! I'll let you all know tomorrow.
