They call them Quahogs, pronounced either kOhhogs or kwogs. Don't know why but it's the case. I only know this because of friends that i visit up there. Usually something like that is more New England-centric but that one seems to be a RI thing only.

Eric, we call them quahogs in CT and MA too. I never heard stuffies - I bet that's a Rhode Island thing. It's so funny how food has different names every where.  _________________ Marcy
