My dog has so many different names that I call him it's crazy. His name is Cole and I call him... Colby, Colby Sue, Colby Sue Snorpy *my last name*, Baby sue, Toby, Bubs, Bubba, Rubba, Sweet Pea. Those are all the ones I can think of at the moment but I am sure I have called him way more than just those names. And yes, he answers to most of these names.

Our kids named our cat Tatem, which I always thought was a silly name for a cat. He's 12 years old now and comes to Tater mostly but he's also Tater Bug and Tater Puss.

We have a dog named Leo (a girl, named that because my daughter brought her home and she's a Leo). Leo has become Leola or even OdaLuu.

I used to do daycare and all the kids received nick names too!

LMAO!!!!... That's what my mom calls one of the barn cats....

Otto'Ban (Audoban) Van Deusenburg (My Schnauzer) is called "Otto" which means "Loyal One" in old german, or "OttoBot" then my sister inlaw calls him "Otto VonTitsling" (Inventer and Kraut) for those that have seen beaches... and my neice calls him "Evil Otto".... Oh yeah, and my mom calls him "Choochy Face"... I guess there is a song in an old musical Confused (Don't ask me, I don't know what she's talking about)

My cat hasn't been around long enough to get a nickname yet... I just adopted him 3 weeks ago... His name is "Hemmingway" for his personality is almost a dead ringer... although I am sure it will soon become "Hemi", for all those car enthusiasts, or "CAT!!!" if he doesn't stop trying to pee on my shoes Shocked (He has issues)

The fish have names, but it matters not, for all they do is stare at me with unblinking eyes from inside their watery prison sending telepathic thoughts for me to feed them, AGAIN. Wink

I named mine Chico Mackenzie. When talking to him, I usually call him Chico, but some times buddy, Fuzzy, my fuzzy, Kittie, the cat, Chico Mack, Chiffon Kitty, Little One. He looks at me, so I guess you could say he responds. Smile

Offically my dog's name is Knight Countoo but for efficiency, I call him CJ. Which turns in to Ceej, the ceejster, and poodie (?). He answers to all![/img]

I like how you've changed your avatar, Spyte. Have you ever seen the movie Fish Stores? I'd give it an 8 or maybe a 9. Just rented it recently. No pets in it, but I thought this morning, that maybe the names used in the movie, might make good pet names.

Of course. I think we all give our pets nicknames or multiple names. As long as they respond right? Dogs are extremely intelligent they pick up on it fast they know who you are talking to.
