Cat, we will definitely try Pazzo Pazzo. What's your favorite thing on their menu?
Not sure of that Chinese place. We only ate out at David and Harry's in East Hanover and at a place in Denville...it's really gaudy. I think on Main street. We just found a good takeout last night. It's in Denville and I think it's called Oriental Express.
Eric - I think there was something I didn't like about Arthur's. Maybe it was the potato. They weren't real french fries I think. _________________ MICHELE

My husband and I used to eat at the Arthurs in Hoboken all the time when he lived there (many years ago). I love the potatoes, too - but if you are looking for crispy, I second the recommendation for onion rings.
Michele, have you tried Cafe Metro in Denville? Some friends just turned us on to that place. The food is fantastic and it's BYOB. I think I know which Chinese place you are talking about in Denville, we've never tried that one. Oh, and Mara's is good for dessert. And there's a new Smartworld coffee right on the corner - I love their coffee!
Ah, can you tell we like to eat??? |

Cafe Metro's menu is up there - I always have trouble finding it thought. When you go to their site, click on menus, and then click on Lunch Menu or Dinner Menu. It's not highlighted in anyway, so unless you pass your mouse over it, you wouldn't know it was clickable. The Martini's Crazy Chicken and the chicken with peanut sauce are my two favorites. The portions are huge, too. The chicken with eggplant and the stir frys are also very good if you want to eat "healthy." |
