Hi everyone. Again, not sure where to post this but since all the other NY/NJ stuff is here I figured...what the heck.
I was hoping to see a broadway show sometime this summer. Tickets are soo expensive though so I would like to look into group rates. I will try to get some people together and if anyone would like to join me let me know. I think it could be a lot of fun!
Any suggestions? Anyone know how the group rate thing works? I'm going to try to look into it today. Let me know your thoughts! _________________ MICHELE

Not sure about the group rates, but would be interested to join you. I assume each theater has a different package for groups.
I DO know if you go the day of the show to purchase tickets (at box office), normally you can get a great price for good seats. This is how we went to see Young Frankenstein a few months ago. Steve ordered them online but you don't pay until pickup. He was offered better seats for less or same amount of money. (He bought them as a gift, so I wasn't "allowed" to know details). We sat 2nd row from stage in the center. I thought Young Frankenstein was a good show - funny and light.
Someone told me "Avenue Q" is funny. Others I heard great things about are "Wicked" and "Spring Awakening". _________________
