Hi Guys.. Sorry about the delay in getting back to you.. but I was waiting for some news from the company about the winner for the extra bag... Well, the folks over at Baker's Blend were so impressed by everyone's taste test that they have decided to give ALL 10 TESTERS another bag..
Let me tell you.. it was very hard to pinpoint one winner. So everyone who participated will be getting another bag in the mail to try more recipes out at your leisure. (Obviously we'd love for you to come back and post about it, but you don't have to.)
We may do this again so that others have a chance..
I'd say that's pretty cool! Congratulations to everyone! You all did a great job.

| ddpie wrote: | | Carol, your recipe seemed to have quite a bit of dry ingredients per liquid ratio??? and a tablespoon of baking powder? that seemed like a lot to me. Have you made these before with regular sugar? again, just curious, it might not have been your baking skills but maybe the recipe. Anyone else have thoughts on it? just curious. |
Yay!! That's great. Seeing as how my cupcakes were not all that wonderful, the first time around, I would love to try it again. Maybe then I can see if it might have been what ddpie suggested back in June regarding my first attempt.see above I think in order to give the product a fair shake, this time around I'll use a recipe that someone successfully made in the first challenge, or at least one I'm more familiar with. Babette please let Baker's Blend know how much we appreciate their generosity in making us ALL winners! _________________ Carol

That's so nice of them! I'll be happy to have another go at this. As I said about my experience - I didn't have a problem with the sugar but the recipe I used was the problem. I can't wait to use the sugar again with a different recipe. _________________ Sheryle
