Good morning everyone!

I'm getting ready for work and thought I would stop in make sure our morning thread was started. I'm sitting here watching the weather and it looks like we are supposed to get to 66 degrees today. That will be nice - I just hope we get to see some sunshine.

I went to the doctor yesterday and while I was sitting in the waiting room, my nephew's exwife walked in. I haven't seen her since their divorce so felt a little uncomfortable at first. I've never cared for her, but always treated her well, so just acted like I always do. I guess they are actually getting along better now than when they were married.

My doctor gave me a certificate to get a months supply of my new medicine, but I felt so bad that I didn't even stop by the pharmacy. I just rushed home and went to bed. I guess I'll try to get to CVS today on my lunch hour. My headache went away sometime over night - thank goodness!

Good Morning, Sheryle and everyone else to follow. Not much on the agenda today. I need to do some more laundry and haul some stuff up to the attic.

We had to turn our A/C on yesterday afternoon. UGH! It was cool enough by bedtime that we were able to turn if off, though.

Good morning everyone. It is in the 60's here in sunny Florida. Sheryle,sure hope they get your medicine straighted out so you can start feeling better. I'm diebetic too and know what your going through. I'm going to start baking next week for thanksgiving. I'm just doing my candy,cookies and the mini loafs of breads. I'll do my pies the day before thanksgiving. Well I've rambled on enough.

Sheryle: Hope you get to feeling better soon. I go through the same thing i'm also diabetic, just hang in there.

Hope everyone is doing well on this nice morning. It is in the 60's today in sunny Florida. I'm really enjoying the weather here,it gets so hot in the summer. Hope to become a snowbird soon.

Good Morning Sheryl, Kenna Lou, Anita and EVERYONE who drops in.... What a beautiful day we're going to have today!! It's going to be in the low 70's today!! I wish DH was off today,so we could work outside in the yard...I'm just not able to do it by myself. We still have a lot of piskie leaves to get mulched up and DGS's outside toys need brought inside for winter. Oh well, maybe we can get it done this week-end. I don't have the boys today and DH is working out of town, so I have all day to get some chores done, but then where am I..ON THE COMPUTER. I'll have to watch myselfand NOT stay on here too long!!
*****SHERYL, Ido hope you are feeling better today, maybe when you start taking your new meds. that will help. I hope you don't over-do at work and can get home and get some rest. Feel better soon, my friend!

*****ANITA, I was just telling DH, that I neede to talk to his DM about dinner,because that's where we'll be. She usually does up the menu and I pick what I'm going to fix. I know it won't be "PIES" , as I'm NOT a good pie maker. Well not like my mom anyway. Well have fun baking next week.

Good Morning, Sheryle, Kenna Lou, Anita, Debbie, and all to follow,
We have beautiful sunshine here in west Michigan. No air conditioning needed. Many leaves raked and bagged. AND, many more to go. We had thought our grandson would have fun playing in the leaves yesterday, but he wasn't interested. He did find our old Fisher Price basketball hoop. THAT was "the bestest."

My daughter's birthday celebration went well, too. We forgot to get more candles, and her husband and her brother were very quick to point that out. Lots of laughing.

Good morning Sheryl, Kenna Lou, Anita, Debbie and Vicki. We are having a beautiful day here today also, I opened up all my windows and am airing out the house. I got a start on the outside work and am going out after lunch to hopefully finish up. Sheryl, sorry to hear that you are feeling so badly. Vicki, glad that you had a nice celebration for you daughter's birthday. Anita, thank heavens I am lucky and can make a good pie, I love making them and everyone is glad to let me do the baking. I am really looking forward to Thanksgiving. We are getting some rooms painted here and I am hoping it gets done in time to not interfere with cooking and cleaning. I love the cooking, but would be glad if I didn't have to do the cleaning, ha ha. Have a great day everyone who stops by. Patti

Hello, Debbie, Anita, Vicki and Patti. Well girls, I have been really busy. I have been loading up toys to put away in the attic to save for grandkids one day. I have a bunch of stuff bagged up and now DH and DS need to take them up to the attic. I feel so good about getting that done. This stuff was in the corner of my den and I needed to get it cleared out in order to have a spot for my Christmas tree. Did I say "Christmas?"
