I had to share a picture of my parents new puppy with you. It isn't the best, since he isn't groomed and I just gave him a bath, but he truly is cute. He is a bischon frise (sp), and he is registered and everything. My parents stopped at a couples house yesterday because the husband is re-siding the house and my dad wanted to visit a bit. My mom went inside to visit with the wife, and she knew that they had these puppies, but didn't want to pay $400 (that is what they have them advertised for) for one, so she was going into to "see" them. Well the lady said, "take one if you want one, you can have it for free." My parents about fell over, and my mom has been wanting an indoor dog, so they took them up on the offer.

The puppies are 4 months old and she can't get rid of them. There are 4 others, plus the 2 parents still living with the couple. Like I was talking with my parents, people can hardly afford to pay bills and buy groceries, let alone buy a $400 dog. But it was sure nice of the people to give him to my parents. They said that I could have one too if I wanted, but Derrick won't let that happen....lol.
