HELLO TO ALL MY TOH FRIENDS.........I made it here bright and early this morning! It's 2:25 am EST. Can you all believe that I've been sitting at this computer since 8:30 last nite!!!!! OH my...I NEED TO GET A LIFE !! For some crazy reason I'm NOT sleepy, well I'm getting there. I've spent time checking out different sites and playing around with trying to get glitter banners to post over here ..didn't work. I'll play around again some other day. Before I go to bed, I need to go to the kitchen and put a huge roast in the crock pot. For Sunday dinner we are gioing to have:
ROAST
MASHED POTATOES/GRAVY
GREEN LIMAS
CORN
HOMEMADE NOODLES (going to make extra for Thanksgiving dinner too)
HOT ROLLS
CHOCOLATE PIE
I've already invited DD, DSIL and the BOYS over. DD has to work til 6:00 so I thought it would ease her mind, if she knew she didn't have to cook.
WELL, I guess I'll go to the kitchen, then to bed. I'll stop back in about lunch time and say hi to everyone....one on one. Take care......Debbie _________________ Debbie

Morning Debbie and all my bakespace friends,
Vicki- Did your hubby and SIL get those carpets down? That's alot of heavy work! What kind of carpet did they put down?
Debbie-How's your Mom? Prayers being sent for her. No, when I posted on TOH I was Lagar there also. Lagar is-Linda and Gabe and Rip! I sent the tuna mousse recipe with the cards I sent out last year. Hope you got some sleep- that was sure some early post
PattiT:My Hubby goes in dive trip to places that I can't go to. Either the currents are very strong or he goes out on a boat that is a single hull(which I get very sea sick). When he's away I watch all the movies I like and can eat salad and soup to my hearts content. How long will your DH be away? So cute about your granddaughter- like Sheryle I have no grandchildren. I do have a son who I would love and pray he meets someone nice.
Jan: My computer does the same thing to me-I spent way to much time on it usually looking for recipes
Anita: The craft fair sounds like it was nice, did you get anything?
Sheryle: Hope you like the recipe- let me know. It's one I make every christmas.
Kenna Lou: Looks like our son is gonna buy in Katy. Should be a good spot for us in the winter to visit to get away from the snow.
ms. meredith: Hope to hear more from you. We have a nice little group here.
Holly- You are so sweet making all those gifs. Sending big hugs to you.
LindaW- Hope you are feeling better.
Bug: Didn't get to make the banana pumpkin bread yet- hope to get to it today.
Suzanne: Did you find a turkey on sale?
BJ- if you have your gifs on something like photobucket copy the URL and paste it here- that simple.
Gabe is out in Montauk diving-should be the last dive in Montauk this year. We are going to Bonaire 12/2.
If you want to check it out they have web cams- www.bonairewebcam.com
Have a good day all.

Good morning all! I've been awake since a little after four and finally after tossing and turning for an hour I decided to get up get my day started. I figured I would be the first person to post this morning and imagine my surpise when I saw that Debbie and Linda both beat me to it.
Debbie - I hope you were finally able to get some sleep. I've had many nights like that, a few times I never get to sleep and just get up and go into work.
Linda - you really got an early start this morning. I will definitely let you know how the recipe turns out.
I had better dry my hair and get some breakfast, will check back in later today and hope to get to the Tea Room sometime today - haven't been there in over a week.
Have a wonderful day!

Hi Debbie, Linda, Sheryle, and everyone else who pops in today!
Happy Sunday!!!
I see a pattern, when ever I have a GB deadline I don't sleep the night before. My Saturaday plans got messed up and I didn't get to the GB until 10pm. But the house has been so quiet, except for my stereo in the kithen, gotta have my music! And it has been so worth it! It looks awesome!!! I can't wait until everyone wakes up and sees it. It is a bit different then I first envisioned it but it really lloks great! I will take tons of pictures, here and at the Crystal Centre and when DH and I go check out the festival during the week. I don't know when judging is? It runs from Tuseday through to Sunday and the auction is during the week. All very exciting!!!
Ingredients estimates are: 40 cups of sugar, 20 cups of flour, 2 bottles of almond extract, 2 bottles of green food coloring, 1 bottle of black gel coloring, half a box of corn flakes, 30 cups of marshmallows, and 60 - 70 hours!
I still need to do a few more things but I need icing... I am almost tempted to go out to the garage and make a batch...in my mitts.
I hope everyone has a great day!

Good Morning everyone
Quiet day, just staying home to wrap some gifts, then tonight going to the mall for the Evening of Giving. That is when the mall is closed, everyone leaves and the only way to get back in is to get these really great sale prices is to buy a ticket for Charity. Hope to finish up the shopping tonight.
I probably will not be cooking anything for Thanksgiving, not even the pies, I am going to order them from a store. I have pretesting Tuesday all day and Wednesday from 12:30 till ?? at the hospital so I don't know how I will feel to make a pie. My sister understands she is the queen of not cooking anyway. She is a CEO of a credit union and doesn't have much time to cook. I am usually the one to wow the crowd with the homemade goodies.
My DH said while I am in rehab he would make some Christmas cookies, like the premises, not the outcome. A true mess to come home to.
I do want to bring a certain pie so with my DD help maybe we can get it done the night before. This is so so good, I have a friend that makes these all the time and has them on hand for our meetings.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Pie
2 eggs
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter melted
6 oz. Chocolate chips ( 1 cup)
1 cup walnuts chopped (optional)
1 graham cracker crust 9 inches
Beat eggs until fluffy, add flour, sugars and butter.
Mix in chocolate chips and nuts. Pour into graham cracker crust.
Bake at 325 degrees for 55 - 60 minutes or until knife comes out clean.
You can double this recipe and freeze second pie.
Well hope everyone has a great day
Linda
