Happy Thanksgiving!
It's 2 AM here in SW Ohio and I am sitting here wide eyed and not even wanting to sleep. I woke up around 1:30 and since I can't sleep decided to get our daily post started. I'm sure many of you will not be able to post until this evening, if then.
I hope you all have a wonderful day with your family and friends - I'm looking forward to hearing about your day.
Sheryle

Good Morning everyone
Well I am up and I don't have to cook anything today. Picked up my pies and there ready to go. I came home from the hospital yesterday and after dinner ( heroes) I fell asleep. Felt drugged slept from 8 pm till 11:30 woke for about any hour then fell back to sleep till 8 am. I guess I really needed it.
We are taking our Christmas decorations out this morning and setting up the house.
I cooked sage sausage this morning to make sausage gravy and biscuits for breakfast. Now to get the lazy bones out of bed.
Going tomy sisters about 10 min away for dinner at 4, so a very lazy day for me.
Only thing I miss is the leftovers. I didn't buy a turkey this year because my brother always gets me one. So maybe over the weekend I will make a small one.
Well everyone have a great day

Good Morning SHERYLE and LINDA L, LINDA W, and to all my TOH FRIENDS that drop in .......
First let me say "HAPPY THANKSGIVING" to EVERYONE!!!!! Sorry no cute pic. but I for some reason haven't mastered that skill yet. lol Hopefully soon! Sheryle I was up until 1:30am ESt went to bed , slept for about an hour and a half, back up could not go to sleep. Almost got back on-line, but I thought DH would asume that I hadn't even went to bed yet. I was really bumbed last note...about 9:30 or 10, I came in read everyone's post, answered each one individually(which took til 11) anyway I accidently forgot to hit "SUBMIT" and lost the whole thing. I wonder if there's anyway to retrieve it once it's gone? Mmaybe I need to ask our dear friend BABETTE!! At any rate my thoughts were with you all last nite. Here's a good one for ya...What time I did sleep...I was dreaming about trying to figure out how to copy a graphic file and paste it . Do ya think I spend too much time on the computer?
Well, I have to go get some sweet potatoes put together...they are cooked, I've just been waitng for them to cool a little bit. Hope you ALL have a wonderful day with your families. If I get time I'll stop in this evening..if not I'll chat tomorrow! Take care....Debbie _________________ Debbie

Hi, Sheryle, Linda, Linda-Ann W, Debbie and all to follow,
Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving newspapers delivered (each paper 4-1/2 pounds). Our family brunch is over. We returned from church, my children have returned from serving the homeless downtown, and my grandson is down for his nap. In an hour only two or three of us will be here. We feel so blessed to have my daughter's family nearby. My son-in-law gave the nicest compliment. "I could have this breakfast casserole every day for a week."
Wishing each of you well,
Vicki (dutchmom4) |

Debbie... Oh man, that's rough. I know exactly how you feel. Unfortunately, there is no way to recover a post that hasn't been saved. Sorry about that.

Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I had my three children that live here and two of my grandchildren. Rose is four and little Tim Tim is 10 months old. Was the first holiday without my dad. He passes away Febuary 27th. last year. Kinda hard but the kids and my mother made it alot easier. Well on to Christmas we go. |

Good evening everyone!
I hope you all had a nice Thanksgiving. I went to my eldest sister's house today. Two of her children and their families were there and my eldest brother and my sister in-law showed up too. So there were 17 of us - a smaller group than we usually have. I had a nice time, but really missed my mother. I used to take care of her whenever we had a family get together -I always filled her plate, made sure she had plenty to eat, and sat with her the whole time in case she needed something. We ate at 1 then we just talked and I came home at around 5. As I said, I had a nice time, it was just different without Mom.
