I realize this has nothing to do with cooking or baking, but everyone has a vacuum(I think). I thought giving a review on my new vacuum would be a good idea.

I just bought myself a Dyson and absolutely love it. I didn't realize what a horrible job my old vacuum was doing until I got the Dyson. From everything I read I knew that was the vacuum I wanted but had a hard time convincing myself to spend that kind of money. After much thought and discussion with my DH he told me, "just do it". After using it the first time I was amazed at the amount of dirt that was in the "clear bin". I dumped it once, went back over the same area again and got just about the same amount of dirt. Another factor in getting the Dyson is that I do have 2 little boys (5 & 3 1/2 yrs) and they are constantly coming in the house after being outside with dirty shoes and clothes. We also have 2 Airedale Terriers that aren't shedding, but they do shed some and of course they come in with there dirty paws. So I'm constantly fighting a losing battle when it comes to cleaning, but I really think that I have a little bit of help now that I have the Dyson.

I hope I didn't bore anyone with my review, but when I find a product that works for me I like to share my thoughts.

I did purchase my Dyson through Ebay and saved myself over $125.00

It is very thoughtful of you to post this. It should help anyone who has thought about buying one. My sister bought one recently and loves hers also.

My kids are now grown, but I have 3 cats and a dog, all of whom should be bald naked by the way they shed. We've had our purple Dyson for 3 years almost - and it was a Godsend! I usually burn out a vacuum every year - not this thing. It is just indestrucable! I love using the wand attacnments on the sofa and recliner - the cats love to lay on the back and it looks like the furniture grew fur! A quick trip across it with the Dyson and it's all done. You're gonna love it for a long time to come -- especially with those little boys!
