My kitchen has been a trial more than a joy recently... all due to the faucet. A few years ago, we thought we purchased our last faucet, but the head has broken numerous times and NOW the water hose has broken. A replacement hose should arrive in 7 to 10 days. Apparently, this model has had a lot of complaints.

Fortunately, we paid a lot less than the current price. We are thankful all replacement parts have been free from Delta. (Just the hose would have been $80+!!)

This is the one we chose when remodeling the kitchen. I love it and have had no problems, but see where the reviews are not so good?? I love that I can pull it WAY out to fill big pots or to rinse large items.

I think I have one similar to Pattits now. (it's either a Delta or a Kohler, can't remember now) I love the pull out handle, in fact, I have one in my laundry room sink too. Wouldn't have any other kind.

I really liked the pull out feature on these faucets. However, the stream/spray button is stuck and now the hose now leaks. My husband met a apartment owner in a local hardware store who put these in all his apartments, and said it was a bad decision... breaking all the time.

-- Do you think it could be the brand and/or model?
-- How long have you had your faucets?

Well, the one downstairs in the laundry room, I've had for about 4 or 5 years now. I use it all the time. Plus, it serves as the "doggie washing station" Haven't had a problem with it yet. But ya know what? when I was shopping for one everyone told me NOT to get them because they break all of the time. So I dunno.

The only thing I notice is that the hose gets hung up down there, so maybe people yanking on it instead of reaching down and unwinding it is part of the prob????

When we did our kitchen last year i saw those pullout models and was excited at first until I noticed that all the display models were messed up (hoses hanging out) and thought...naaaa, don't want to deal with that. So this is the model I got:

http://www.pricepfister.com/kitchen/Product/026-4CBS.aspx

I love the high arch because I can get big pots underneath without a problem. The only drawback is that because the faucet is so high, it tends to splash everywhere outside the sink. Oh...and it swings in a full circle so If I were to turn it 180' I'd make a huge mess behind my sink. (I haven't been that brain dead yet tho...LOL)

We remodeled the kitchen about 3 years ago I think. Never a problem with it so far.
